Probably just me (;)), but does it seem like rooms at WDW (deluxe) resorts are being booked up farther in advance than what they used to making it harder to get room reservations unless one books well in advance?

Been going a long time and it used to be we'd book in June/July for a trip in fall and never have a problem getting what we wanted for the most part. Now it would seem that this is getting harder to do as many seem to be booking up well in advance.

Again maybe it's just me but does this seem to be something others have noticed or is my memory defective? :rotfl2:

Fall is becoming more popular as each year goes by, IMO, as the events going on are getting more popular. Epcot has F&W, the Halloween parties start in September, the Christmas parties start the beginning of November....just to name a few. Plus the weather is great that time of year, so I think more people are going during that time not only for the weather, but for all of the events going on and the deluxe resorts are great for being close to MK and Epcot ;).

Thanks for the comment, ;), I think you've pretty much hit the nail on the head. As for myself I've noticed this more this last year or two than times past and I think fall will continue to be popular for the reasons you noted.

A better question one might ask is if there is really any down time anymore at WDW?

Thanks again!

You're welcome :goodvibes.

As for your other question, I don't think there is any down/slow time at Disney anymore. It used to be certain times of the year were almost guaranteed to be slow, but I think any time at Disney is busy now. There are times that are a little slower than others, but not like it used to be (IMO). A lot of people do still stay offsite for various reasons, but I think a lot more people are choosing onsite for the extra perks (DME, transportation among parks, etc), therefore, making the resorts and parks busier than in years past.
