Deluxe Resorts & Free Dining Question

I'm trying to convince DH to go to WDW in Sept for free dining. He's a deluxe resort snob. He said "can we upgrade to the Wilderness Lodge with the free dining package? Then we'll go."

Anyone know?? Dying to know if this is possible. Too late to call WDW!

You can... I called twice tonight to ask questions about this. Both times they gave me quotes for deluxe, moderate and value packages including the free dining.

We'll be calling first thing in the morning to book our stay! whoohoo!

Making sure that you noticed that the $73 figure they use in the ad for a Mod is PER PERSON, PER NIGHT, not $73 total for the room Like this from the ad:

Prices start at:
$73 per person, per day for family of 4 at select Moderate Resorts (std room)

You probably already got that, but I just didn't want you to be disappointed if you thought that $73 was the total per night cost!

You should be able to with no problems. When Free Dining was offered last year I upgraded to the CR then changed to the Poly.

Our Woods View Room at WL with Free dining, 6 day MYW Base tickets for 2 adults, 2 children and 1 free infant was $2258.66. Hope that helps you some. I would call today and see if they have any available. Good luck and I hope you get what you want!

If you really want WL and can't get it today, I would keep checking every day (either call or you can check on the website after it's released to the public on Thursday) up until the deal ends in June. Most people have been able to get it.

DH wants to upgrade the whole package, it's no longer a cheap last minute trip

He wants a deluxe resort, deluxe dining plan and park hopper passes! I wanted the cheap promo package with free dining!

He won't go for a moderate after staying GF in June!

So we're going to pass on the free dining. Rather put all my pennies towards our DL vacation next year.

I think that includes park passes though (not hoppers).
