We are undecided about getting the DDP or the Deluxe Plan. We will be staying for 2 nights. We will get there around noon the first day, park day the second, and be there for breakfast the last day. If we get the deluxe i know I can use a CS meal in place of a TS right? What about snacks. If we have an extra TS meal, can we get a snack in place of it? Just to use it up?

Hi,

If you purchase the deluxe plan and stay two nights (paying for 3 days of meals) you'd have 9 meals and 6 snacks per person. The meals include appetizers. You can use the meal credits for either table service or counter service. Some meals, like the character meals at Cinderella Castle, use two credits.

We were told that they recently changed the items that are covered by the snack plan. Most of the items that are less than $4 and listed as single servings are covered. But, not all are. The CMs really couldn't tell by looking at the product...they had to ring it up to tell. My daughter did discover that cotton candy and the Mickey Premium ice cream bars do make good snacks!

We really liked the deluxe plan.

I'm in the same boat for thinking about the regular DDP (which we've used many times) or switching to the Deluxe DDP for our next trip.

I tend to enjoy going to the Signature restaurants so I think if I go for the deluxe plan I could try one each night. Have a TS breakfast, snack(s) for lunch, and then go to all the 2 TS places I have yet to visit...

Of course that's a lot of food, and I have to consider other people going with me and they may not want to spend $70 per day on food/snacks.... :confused3
