I'm assuming Slinky has a long wait and we will buy a pass for RoR before close.

Is riding MMRR, ToT and Alien Swirling Saucers too ambitious for those two extra hours?

I think ROTR isn't included in the extended hours any more, at least from what I've read. Tom Bricker at disney tourist blog has a pretty decent itinerary for DHS (the only one i've found, really).

I’ve never gotten to do EEH at HS before, but the general rule of thumb for EEH anywhere is to avoid the biggest headliners at the start to let the day guests who hopped in line just before regular park close cycle through. Waits drop significantly after that, usually midway through to the end of the evening. I’d use the same strategy for Slinky Dog.

We figure to do what we want to get done and then head over to Slinky after and see how it is. I do plan to reserve it for a later day in the trip.

Posted wait times are generally not accurate for extra events like extended evening hours or ticketed events like after hours or party nights. Many times I've seen rides posted at 45 minutes wait and be a literal walk-on.

That's pretty crazy. The whole reason I wanted to do this next month was to experience the Star Wars area at night with fewer people around. So is it just the ride or the entire land is shut down?

Nevermind. Just looked it up and the other ride is open. Still kind of wild that the main ride is down vs. the other way around. We'll just line up for ROTR before official park close I guess.
