I understand you get 3 meals per day. ARe the credits seperated into a certain number of TS and CS.

It seemed to me that you get 3TS per day (for 1 credit meal and a 2 credit sig meal) and then a CS credit per day. Am I understanding it correctly. Also could you do 3 (1 credit TS meals).

The way it is explained doesnt make sense to me.

I like to think of the meal credits in the DxDDP as flexible credits. They can be used for whatever meal you want - CS or TS. You can use them at 2-credit TS restaurants if you want, or eat at 3 1-TS credit restaurants in one day. They're flexible so what you do with them is up to you.

Ok so if I used them for 3 1 credit TS in one day would I be lacking a TS later in the week? or can you do 3 1 credits in lew of a 2 credit dinner?

My understanding is you get 3 credits per day (and 2 snack credits I believe). The 3 credits can be used however you wish, as table service, counter service, or both.

You could use 1 CS and a 2-TS restaurant, or you could use 3 TS in one day, or 3 CS in one day. As long as you use 3 credits per night, no matter what kind of credits they are, you still have 3 per night left for the rest of your trip. All of the credits are equal to each other.

Does anyone know if you can use more then 3 in a day? I find this very confusing also. Say I do CS BF, 1TS Lunch, 2TS signature dinner??? I know later in the week I would be short one but that would be ok.

It's 3 meals per day and you can use them any way you would like. You can do 3 TS in a day or 2 CS and a 1 TS. Also all TS are 1 meal. There is no difference in table service places (signature or regular)

Don't quote me on the signature thing b/c now that I look at dvc site it seems that you do have to give 2 meals for 1 signature meal. It's confusing.

It is very confusing. I can't figure it out for the life of me. I hope that all the meals are equal.

I just PMed a dismember that has a review up on the deluxe plan to see what was charged for Jiko and the like.

Ok, you get 3 meal credits. Plus 2 snack credits. Per night of your package
Example:
Day one:
I use 1 TS credit @ Boma' for breakfast.
Then 2 TS credits to eat @ California Grill, for dinner.
I will have 2 snack credits remaining for that night.

Day two:
I have lunch @ Cinderella' Royal Table for lunch. 2 TS
For dinner I have a CS @ Cosmic Rays 1CS
I would still have 2 snack credits to use.

Day three:
I have breakfast @ Kona' 1 TS
Lunch @ Beaches & Cream 1 TS
Dinner @ Yak & Yeti 1 TS
I would still have 2 snack credits left for this night.

Hope this helps. I use to be confused also.
Signature restaurants, count as 2 credits. Everything, else CS or TS count as 1.

I think what is throwing everyone is the wording that says 3 meals at any resturant that particiaptes, when maybe it should read 3 credits to use as you wish CS or TS but signature will still be 2 credits.

for a 3 day trip, you get 9 credits (3 X 3)--you can use them any way you want---all 9 on 1 day (that would be impossible) or 3 each day.
So, for example, you could have 3 TS meals one any days, 2 meals that require 2 TS (so 4 credits) and nay days and then 2 CS meals on any days---it just has to equal 3 times the # of days you are there. The restuarants that required 2 TS on MYW DDP still require 2 credits from Deluxe DDP.

Thank you very much. :)

Hi all. Just back from a 5 day deluxe dining trip. Here's how it works. We stayed 5 days and there were 3 of us. Each of us got 3 credits per day. Multiply that out: 5 x 3 x 3 = 45. So we had 45 meal credits to use anyway we wanted. Most restaurants "cost" only one credit. Only the signature restaurants "cost" 2 credits. It doesn't matter how many credits you use in a day. You could use 0 for a day, or all 45 in a day. Doesn't matter to Disney. You have until midnight on check-out day to use them -- however you like.

For instance, the first day, we used 2TS (Brown Derby) each at lunch and 2TS (Flying Fish) at dinner. The next day, we didn't use any credits for breakfast or lunch, but used 1TS each for dinner. The next day, we used 1TS each for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The key is the total for your trip. Signature dining is still signature dining and still "costs" 2TS credits.

One more note: kids and adult credits are different. My daughter got 15 kid credits and my husband and I each got 15 adult credits. They're separate.

And yes, you can use the credits for CS or TS or a combination. You could use all credits for TS or all for CS. Doesn't matter to Disney. The differences for you are that TS tend to be more expensive, so you get more bang for your buck with TS. On the other hand, you don't have to pay a tip for CS....

Proabably worth noting that it is actually three credits per night, not per day, so if you're staying for six nights/seven days you have eighteen credits... if you arrive early on your first day and leave late on your last you do need to spread them out a bit more.

Thank you so much now I finally understand.
