Deluxe dining plan question

Hi,

My husband and I are getting the deluxe dining plan when we go on our anniversary trip this summer. We are doing some meals that require 2 table service credits so we are going to pay for some table service meals out of pocket instead of using the meal plan.

Here is my question, could one of us at the table use a table service credit and one of us pay out of pocket during the same meal? For example if we go to via Napoli and he gets an app, an entree and desert so wants to use a meal credit can I just get an individual pizza and pay out of pocket while we are at the same table?

With the deluxe plan, you each get 3 TS credits per night of stay. Most people do a one credit breakfast/lunch then a 2 credit dinner. You shouldn't have to pay OOP for anything. Your 2 snacks/night/person should be enough to fill in if you need something between meals.

To answer your question, yes at most restaurants you can mix up DDP and OOP payments. Via Napoli, however, is one of the most strict on this one. They do not like DDP users sharing with OOPers. You should be able to do what you want even at Via Napoli since you're planning on getting an entree OOP, but don't be surprised if they give you some trouble.
