I have found the info on these forums extremely helpful in planning my reservations! Mother/Son trip and I've decided on the DxDDP... traveling with my 8 yr old son. I have planned 2 meals a day, a character breakfast and a Signature dinner or dinner show each night.
One day we are not doing a breakfast and are eating at the Brown Derby for lunch. I know it will be too much food for us at lunch, so I will be planning to share my meal with my son- App, entree and dessert is more than enough for both of us especially at lunch. Now I know that is okay to do, and we may do it for other meals if we are not super hungry, my son typically likes to eat what I'm having. I'm not really trying to save credits, just don't want to order too much and be left feeling stuffed all the time. That will leave me with a kids credit or two which I would use at counter service if he should get hungry for lunch.
I am just confused how they track Deluxe credits. Is it possible for the counter service people to ring it in as a kids credit? -I just don't want them deducting it from my adult meal credits. From what I've read counter service credits are universal as far credits go, but TS credits are tracked as Adult or Kid. So, I just want to make sure that it is going to be alright to just order one CS kids meal and have it come off his kids credits. He may not even use the leftover kids credits, I'm wondering more "just in case".
If anyone has used the plan and can let me know I'd appreciate it! Thanks in advance.
