We LOVED SSR! I know a lot of people don't like it, but we really loved the relaxed vibe and it was just so beautiful! I didn't even think about the TP, but you are right! The TP at Pop is horrible.

Thanks!! She's doing much better.... but unfortunaltely was not medically cleared for our WDW trip We leave tomarrow.... and she really would never be able to handle it at this point.

Chapter 4: A Net full of Jello, Blonde moments, and Empty Streets!

Alright I fail miserably, I was supposed to have made it as far as Paula arriving by now, well as you can tell that didn’t happen, I’m not even through the first like 3 hours of day one LOL. I have no really good excuse except things have been crazy around hear…so I can only hope you my TR readers and especially Paula will forgive me however I have goals to have many an update up so she (and you guys as well) will have plenty to read when she gets home LOL!!! I’m so excited for her, she leaves tomorrow morning and will be heading “HOME.” I can’t wait to see all her pictures and here her tales as she will be doing a lot of really fun new things and taking some of her family for the very first time!! HAVE A GREAT TRIP P!!!!

So where did we leave off…of yes it was my turn to choose a ride and I was anxious to get my “muppet” on. I had been to Disney twice already and neither trip did I stop to see muppets and I had to rectify this immediately. I’m a huge fan of the Muppets, I have seen all the movies, and I just love Kermie…he is adorable! So off to Muppets we walked.

You have to give a lot of props to the design of the queue area of this attraction. The humor, the puns, its just a really cool place to check out and really see what it has to offer so that is what I did.

I have to say my two favorite gag puns in this attraction are the next two photos…can you guess what they are???? LOL!!!

LOL the first one is a tribute to Annette Funicello… get it…a net full of jello LOL!!!! I always chuckle a little to myself each time I see it!!!

And the next one…Tootie Fruitie LOL!! Got to love it!!

As always the show was great! I love Ms. Piggy’s musical section and of course I always look out for the Hidden Mickeys in the finale!!

Then it was time to channel my inner MeMom and do some souvenir browsing and I might have even take a few pictures. I was on a mission I had to pick up a special souvenir for a very special DIS meet that would be occurring later in the day.

Well after picking up a few things…I couldn’t just stop at the one thing I was really looking for…I had to pick up some things for me and have them sent to front of the park to pick up later. Then I decided that I wanted to explore the Streets of America before things got crowded. I was especially excited after reading the DHS chapter of The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney to find all the little touches on the Streets.

Okay I have to stop to tell you a funny story about this picture…be prepared for another Jen “blonde” moment. So in January as I was exploring all the little corners of DHS I came across the Christmas decorated store…and I was a little shocked because shouldn’t Disney have taken all of the Christmas decorations down by now. So I thought it was a little odd to have decorations up but I really didn’t give it a second thought I thought it was cute and glad it was in a back corner and figured Disney was going to get around to taking down the decorations in the next few days.

Well imagine my surprise when in October I walk into the exact same scene…and the light bulb goes off…WAIT a minute…this is meant to be a Christmas scene. I had a great chuckle out of my misconception and took another picture. It is quite the holiday scene don’t you think.

More Streets of America

Another story LOL!! Okay so the next time you are walking the Streets of America make sure you check out the travel agency and look into the windows. There is a lovely picture of Walt and Lillian hanging on the wall. It was such a piece of history to see and really made my day to see Walt in his parks!!! Great touch Disney!!!

Another Disney detail…because the running fire hydrants play such a huge role during the summers on the Streets of our biggest cities, this hydrant is always running in the Streets of Disney!!!

And of course any good tour of the Streets of America always includes a stop at the Singing in the Rain umbrella!!!

I made a quick stop on the steps of America to talk to Soleil for a few minutes and just take in the empty streets. It was a great time to just enjoy the Disney atmosphere and pretend that it was ALL mine LOL!!!!

Coming up next: A quick DIS meet at TSM and I finally meet the most wonderful C!!!

On another side note.....yes I am heading off to the magical world tomarrow morning.... with not 1...not 2... but 3 newbies!! Me and my 2 DDs are taking my SIL and 2 nephews on their 1st trip to WDW... should be an adventure! I'll be doing a few live updates on my TR that was already started (see my siggie) if anyone is interested in stopping by! It's a TR that I started a little early...NOT a PTR, as I have written those cursed things off forever

What a great update! I love all the pictures of the Streets of America! I also love the muppets. I'm glad you explained all the corny jokes to me because I was looking at all the stuff last June thinking...hmmmmmm! OK, now I get it! Yeah - a little slow on the uptake! It also looks like there is NOBODY there again! Was this still Friday?....No, I think it was Saturday.

I think all your pictures turned out really good. I thought they were Paula's at first and then I realized she hadn't arrived yet! LOL!

I can't believe P is leaving again tomorrow! Thank goodness she did not start that PTR.....it would have cursed her fo' sure!

Anyway....can't wait to read about your Dismeet. Hopefully, if all goes well, next year I will be one of your Dis meets!

I did not notice that in '04 and we skipped it this time.

I have vowed to take Streets pictures this next trip, we always breeze through there as well. What wonderful pics!

My DS11 really wants to ride Star Tours, but he had a VERY BAD experience on Mission Space Orange. Let's just say that our cabin was out of barf bags but we didn't know until it was too late. He's worried that the simulator on Star Tours will have the same effect. Any opinions...is it the simulator or the spinning that does it to people on MS?

As someone previously answered, I think MS and Star Tours are two very different rides!! I think your DS would have no problem on Star Tours!!!! There is no spinning at all on Star Tours!

WE(David and I) not only loved this update...-it explained a lot-You know there was a couple of days there that Jedi Mickey was very quiet...(we give him a lot of freedom-since he's a trained Jedi and all of that-and tends to need a little freedom to go off and save the galaxy ) but there was definitely a couple of days there were we didn't see him much and know we know why...

(It might also explain why he has been asking for me to add chocolate milk to our grocery list and also why he keep requesting to watch Snow White...(I'm afraid that French Minnie is getting a little bit jealous since she thinks that the story JM keeps telling her about liking the dwarves is a cover for a little crush on Snow...hmm I wonder if Nobby was talking about Snow to JM...)

I do think his heart is true to FM and he may pop the question...and I'm sure that Nobby would be his choice of officiants -so that online minister's license could really come in handy...(I think that Nobby is really a Renaissance gnome and is really a gnome of many talents---I think if you don't let him get his license Jen-he might get cranky...sigh...(I'm just not sure if French Minnie will accept JM as much as she loves him...)

David was especially thrilled to see Star Tours and is really happy that you liked it since it is one of his favorites... and he was also thrilled that the boys (Nobby and JM) were hanging with the Ewoks-because we are HUGE Ewok fans in our house...all in all if JM had to leave for a bit-there is no one we'd rather have him hanging with than Nobby...

David thinks that you are so "cool"...I think I might have to tell him about Prince Philip or you might find yourself with a proposal of marriage...(but I think I'll wait till after Trick or Treating tonight...

PPP....Aww I'm so glad you and David both enjoyed my update!!! I think your David is a very special guy and I'm so glad he was okay with Jedi Mickey visiting us for awhile!!

Boys and their crushes....you can reassure French Minnie from what I overheard Jedi Mickey only has eyes for her...and yes I'm sure Nobby filled Jedi Mickey in on his intentions towards a certain fair princess!!!
