Deluxe Digs, Delish Dining, & DISers:A Perfectly Pampered Trip for 2(Upt:8/12 pg.42)

It's been a couple of years since we visited the Muppets, now I think we will have to make a stop there in December. I think I might have wondered about those decorations being up when we were there in June.....

Fun update, Jen! You captured a lot of details on the Streets of America that I've never seen! :) I'm so excited I'll be in the next chapter! A special guest appearance. ;)

Fun update -- I love all the little details you photographed! I think I need to buy the Hidden Magic of WDW so I know what to look for on the next trip!

Great update!! I'm looking forward to going on my adult-only trip in December and being able to notice the details a little more! Your pictures of Streets of America are great, and I agree that I loooove the Muppets!

We got a kick out of th net full of Jello when we got to stop in January. For some reason we usually walk right into the theater!

I can't believe how empty the park was! Too cool!!

Cute Kermit shirt. :)

Good job on the pictures! I love all the detail in the streets and buildings back there. The windows and signs are fun things to take the time to check out.

That fountain will be going in my Disney water features collage whenever I get to it. I took a couple of pictures a few weeks ago, but there were too many people around. I'll have to try again.

We haven't done Muppets 3D since Brooklynn was little, so it's time for us to do it again for her. Maybe in December.

Great update! I love all the little details. I have to say though, I don't remember that running fire hydrant. Last time I was there, Ron Stoppable and Kim Possible were still out doing meet-and-greets and their line went right past there. I think I would have noticed getting wet or a growing puddle next to me. :confused3 Maybe it's new or didn't use to run when Kim and Ron were there? Either that or I'm not as observant as I thought.

I love your pictures of all the little details at DHS. That's the stuff I usually don't take time to explore.

I made a quick stop on the steps of America to talk to Soleil for a few minutes and just take in the empty streets.

I haven't seen Soleil around in a long time; anybody know how she's doing?

Santa is going to have to bring me a Hidden Magic of WDW book. :santa:

A net full of Jello :lmao: Never noticed that before! I slowed down walking through the streets of America this past trip but still didn't find all the details in your pics. Guess I'll have to go back again. Darn.

How did I miss that you posted a new chapter? :confused3

AWESOME PICS JENNY!!! :thumbsup2 I could just spend hours on the streets of America! I love the apartment block scenes - I just wish we were allowed to sit on those stairs! I would love to have a pic of my girl's sittin on some of those steps! So Cool!! :cool1: I too love the "net full of jello" :lmao:

some year I am gonna have me a solo trip so I can spend hours just browsing in all the shops! So fun to just look at stuff ( a buy some stuff too) :)

Great update as always! I can't wait to see the Osbourne lights now that I have seen a reminder of the Streets of America! I still enjoy the muppets 3D show... reminds me of when I used to watch the muppets as a kid :goodvibes

Looks like I'm all caught up. I admit, I skipped ahead and just read the updates. Sorry!

I am looking forward to your next update though!!

Jen -

What a great update! I love all the pictures of the Streets of America! I also love the muppets. I'm glad you explained all the corny jokes to me because I was looking at all the stuff last June thinking...hmmmmmm! OK, now I get it! Yeah - a little slow on the uptake! It also looks like there is NOBODY there again! Was this still Friday?....No, I think it was Saturday.

I think all your pictures turned out really good. I thought they were Paula's at first and then I realized she hadn't arrived yet! LOL!

I can't believe P is leaving again tomorrow! Thank goodness she did not start that PTR.....it would have cursed her fo' sure!

Anyway....can't wait to read about your Dismeet. Hopefully, if all goes well, next year I will be one of your Dis meets! :woohoo:

Aww thanks MET!! I really do enjoy using my camera and I am becoming more and more comfortable with it!!! The camera I use is a FugiFine Pix Great camera and I'm learning more and more about it and what it can do!

I really think a DISmeet is in our future!!!

Jen - Thanks for all the details and moments from HS! I go crazy there taking pictures of all those things, and you have some I've never seen. DISers are awesome :lovestruc.

Paula - All best thoughts and love to you and your family!

HEATHER!!! YAY for stopping by!! Thanks I really enjoyed just having the Streets all to myself and really getting to explore the details and peek into windows!!!

A net full of jello!

I did not notice that in '04 and we skipped it this time.

I have vowed to take Streets pictures this next trip, we always breeze through there as well. What wonderful pics!

And have a great trip Paula!!!!!!!!

Yes you should really stop and take in some of the details there! The store windows are some of my favorites and looking at the cost of things in the areas!! Just Disney imagineering at its best!!!

LOL!! I'm glad I'm not the only one!! I still can't believe I thought what I thought should have known Disney would have had a Christmas themed area...but it still just struck me as odd LOL!!!

How is everyone doing at your house....the sickies all gone now??

Great update as always! I can't wait to see the Osbourne lights now that I have seen a reminder of the Streets of America! I still enjoy the muppets 3D show... reminds me of when I used to watch the muppets as a kid :goodvibes

OOH Osbourne lights, I'm so jealous! They were starting to put those back up in October! I think one of my pictures you can see the lights on the buildings!

I definitely need to spend a bit more time exploring the little details on the streets of America. I think the only thing I had noticed before was the singing in the rain umbrella.

Wow--What fantastic pictures, Jen! I love that you took time to just enjoy walking around and taking pictures on your first morning. What great details, huh?! :goodvibes What a perfect way to start your trip--relaxing and taking it all in! I can't wait for more ;)
