As many of you know I’m about to embark on another journey to Orlando and a visit to my Happy Place, however I have not forgotten about this TR, actually because of all the planning ahead of grading that I have done, I’m actually way ahead of the game with very little to do while my students take exams for the next couple of days. SO….that means I need to use my time wisely and do some serious updating!

When we last left Nobby and I we got stuck in the middle of a Frontierland dance party. I of course took out my camera and took a few shots of the action while two-stepping my way through the party (well actually to the side) and heading towards Liberty Square. As we finally escaped into Liberty Square I took a deep breath because I knew my date with destiny was rapidly approaching. That was until destiny decided to play a cruel joke on me, out walks a CM soliciting people to come view the next showing of the Hall of Presidents that would begin in about 5 minutes. I was dying to see the new show after the refurb, but but…my beloved was waiting for me. What is a person to do…well if you are a Libra like me you slowing descend into the madness of indecision trying to come up with a pros and cons list of which one to go to…thankfully I had a moment of sanity amongst all this and decided to flip a coin and leave it to Destiny (so series finale JAG-like). The coin was flipped, the decision was made and off I was to…

Yes, I went to watch the Hall of Presidents, I waved and sighed as I walked past my beloved hoping she would forgive me and entered into the theater with no wait. Well I did stop to take this picture for a dear friend…

I have to say I was greatly impressed with the show. I don’t remember much from the last time I saw it (when I was 10) LOL! However, considering my love for the American Adventure it was no stretch that I would enjoy this show too. I’m looking forward to seeing it again.

After leaving the Hall, I was making a bee-line straight to my Haunted Mansion. I wasn’t leaving it up to fate to thwart me anymore than it already had…now it was mine time.

Isn’t she just so magnificent!!! Awww…I definitely took my time going through the queue as I always do. I stop to look at the hearse.

I stop to look at the grass and the bushes. I even stop to take a look at the front door.

Then I admire the gravestones and then walk into the stretching room, where I put the camera away. It is the sacred rule of all things Haunted Mansiony that the camera gets put away during this ride. I want to immerse myself in all things spooky and grim-grinning and I can’t do that worrying about how the photos come out in the dark.

So 1 hitchhicking ghost later, a promise that I will be the 1,000 volunteer, and a request in for my death certificate I was exiting my ride in a full state of bliss. Now this euphoria that I have has led to a certain downfall of mine, no pictures of the pet cemetery, in particular Mr. Toad’s stone. Once again the clouded joy of the Haunted Mansion had me walking in a daze past the pet cemetery when I suddenly realized what I was doing. Hoping I didn’t run into any person with my sudden stoppage, I turned back around and got my beloved shots!

WOOT!!! 3 trips later the pet cemetery photos are mine!!!! I took the time to do a little jig and then decided to venture back into a now NOT empty Fantasyland to take in some adventures with Donald.

Philharmagic was wonderful as always and after reading a few DIS reports I knew I had to explore the gift shop this time.

So channeling my inner Me-Mom (I did a lot of that this trip). I found those vintage shirts and took pictures so I could think on whether I wanted one or not.

Would the bug bite, would I have to have one of those shirts?? Well not at that exact moment but I would be thinking on it!!

Leaving the shop I decided I would like to get some castle shots, who doesn’t go to Disney and come home with about 100 castle shots? Here are a few of the ones I took that morning.

As I was wrapping up the Castle photo shoot out of the corner of my eye I spotted these ladies…

By this time I was ready for a snack and then a break!! I knew I had a big night ahead of me and a huge dinner. So I didn’t want to eat something really heavy and I wanted to take a nap before getting ready for dinner.

So I decided to walk through Tomorrowland and then head out. Of course there is only one snack that one should get if walking through Tomorrowland.

So yummy!!! I have to laugh because this looks exactly like the picture Leslie posted today on our PTR LOL!!!!! We have such great taste!!

Then it was time to head out…I’m going to leave you with some wonderful pictures of Main Street decorated and as the last picture says…I’ll See you Real Soon!!

YAY! An update! I knew you wouldn't leave us hanging!! You finally got to HM!! Those t-shirts are cute. I've never stopped to look at them.

I am not normally much into fall (but for the weather) - the decor, Halloween, not really my thing. But the decorations at MK are so cute!!

We have a statewide school break for two days in mid October. Maybe that would be a good time to hop down to WDW???

Excellent update! We haven't seen Philharmagic in several trips - we will have to remedy that this summer. I love all the Main Street pictures with all the fall decorations. That is part of why I love taking a fall trip down there!

Oh yay! An update !!!! WHAT a great set of photos!!!! I didn't know that Mr. Toad was in the Pet Cemetary!!! Oh I have to catch that next time!!! Definitely will stop for that! I have not studied all these little details because I usually am trying to keep up with a child!!! OH! We rode it too, BTW, and we ALL rode it, no mad dash exit out of the stretching room this time!!
