HOORAY!!! an update!!
And great pictures too!! I forget now (it's been a while) what is the date of your MK day here? It sure doesn't look crowded at all! I am considering someday going in October as our schools get a four day weekend for teacher meetings in mid-October. Although I usually like to go to escape the cold, it looks like warm weather and it's decorated so cute. But then again, I love it at Christmas time,...I should go about once every month or two, don't you think???

Thanks!!!! That day was the last Saturday in September and I would highly recommend October especially later in the month. You won't have the first of the Food and Wine Crowds and hopefully by then it will have cooled off a bit!!!! I think we should all go as much as our hearts desire LOL!!

What a great update! Well worth the wait! Love all the photos of character greetings, empty Frontierland, empty Fantasyland, and the Jungle Cruise! You had so much fun that morning!!!

I agree that the Jungle Cruise is made by a great skipper. I've always lucked out.
A couple of years ago, during my older nephew's first trip (he was 3 at the time) we went to MK first and had to explain that the animals on the Jungle Cruise were not alive. He was asking a lot of questions. Later in the week, we made our way over to AK and rode Kilimanjaro Safaris. His first question, Are those animals real??? It took half the ride to convince him that those were actually live animals just like at the Bronx Zoo

I love your empty park pictures! This is what makes me go for rope drop: exploring the park while it is still empty and freshly cleaned. There is something really special about that atmosphere!
