I am booked into a deluxe concierge room in the main building at the GF. I have seen various lay-out diagrams but was wondeing if anyone have stayed in this type of room. I am most interested in if the room has a separate parlor area?? Thanks

We stayed in one of these rooms a few months ago. The rooms are on the third and fourth floor of the main building. There are 2 floor plans and they are shown on Disney's website under guest rooms at the GF. Also, I think they are posted here on the first page or two of the GF FAQ. They are basically large hotel rooms (ours was 700 - 800 square feet). There is no separate parlor (that would be a suite), but there is a sitting area away from the beds. We stayed in 4422. It is a beautiful room with a large balcony. The view is outstanding (panoramic, running from the end of the Contemporary to the Monorail station at the GF. You can see the Poly, the new GF pool, the wedding pavillion, Epcot and the fireworks at Illuminations, the nightly water parade, etc.). It is a great room.

I would recommend a room on the fourth floor. There is music in the GF lobby each night, which is wonderful, but it is loud until 11 pm. The band is on the second floor.

There are two different styles of deluxe concierge rooms (check out the GF FAQ on here - there are floor plans) They're both approx. 800 sf, but completely different layouts. There is no separate parlor in either. However, there is a nice seating area, separated well by the layout of the furniture, in both types.

I have pics of both types here: http://hometown.aol.com/imbe/Travelswith.html
