Deluxe annual pass from Costco?

Does the voucher for purchase of a deluxe annual pass from Costco have an expiration date (not the deluxe annual pass itself)?

Yes, it reads: "Exchange this certificate by 05/31/09 at the Disneyland Resort ticket booths... annual pass will begin on date of redemption, is valid for one year of admission except on applicable blackout dates..." yada, yada, yada

Costco says they will probably have another promotion starting June but they were not sure what it was going to be yet. I want to buy one too for my June trip. I have an $85 costco certificate I want to use to buy it, but I'm not going until June 21st. I wanted to get the AP at costco so I could use my certificate and I wanted the $50.

is it any cheaper at costco assuming i don't have any certificates? also do they have children ones? we were going to buy APs today but now i'm nervous to do it on the website and then pick it up at WDW

I'm sorry, your question is very confusing. What certificate are you referring to? When you get an AP at Costco you get a Deluxe AP for $269 (same as buying it at DL) but you also get a $50 gift card with this purchase. You get your gift card when you activate your AP. Children's APs are the SAME price as adult APs, there are no price breaks for children unless you're buying park hoppers.

Question!

So sorry to hijack this thread, but are APs from Costco available only at Southern CA locations?

I believe so, and my understanding was that they were a "while supplies last" kind of thing, so you would have to check with individual stores regarding availability, especially at this point. The promo has been running for quite awhile.

I got an $85 rebate check from Costco. It's a Costco thing. Every year you get 2% of your yearly purchases back. This years rebate check was $85. I was going to apply that to the price of the AP. You also get a $50 card to use at Disneyland. So between my $85+$50 it's cheeper. No I can't apply the $50 to the AP but it will help off set food and stuff at the park.

yes, they are only available in So Cal, none of the Nor Cal locations ever had these. For a brief time right at Christmas they had them online, I sent the link to my DBFs Mom and she ordered us our AP vouchers online. They stopped doing that tho, now they are only available in stores.

I'm sorry, this isn't meant to sound rude but I can't think of how to say it. lol I wasn't referring to your certificate Janette, I knew what yours was, I get them too. :) Mine are actually from my AmEx/Costco card. I was referring to the post Jubilee made, it was very confusing and I wasn't clear on her/his question. :) Oh and you COULD use that gift card towards an upgrade or towards adding parking to your Deluxe AP, we did that. :)

Also don't forget if you are upgrading the Costco AP, don't forget to apply your parking for that day! That is $12 towards your upgrade!

Also even if you are not upgrading but want to add parking to your AP you can also apply that $12.

Why waste that $12!
