Delux Dining Plan ?

I understand about the 3 meals each day on the Del. DP, but I am confused about tours, etc. I have read many posts about tours and other recreation and shows (like cirque) being included on the del DP. But I cannot find anything official that says these things are included. Are they, or not? It would be VERY worth the cost, for me anyway, if the tours and such are included. Anyone know for sure? Thanks!!

Tours, recreation and Cirque are not included on Deluxe DDP. Those extras are only included with the Premium and Platinum packages, which also contain a dining plan which is different from the DxDDP and regular DDP.

that make sense. Actually, that is what I figured, but with several posters saying they were going on tours with what they called the Del. DP, I got confused. I guess they were just calling their plan by the wrong name!!! Thanks!

honeymo78 is correct. These "extras" are not included on the deluxe plan and are only included in the more expensive packages.

So, the food plans are different for platinum and premium? I thought those plans just included a deluxe dining plan, plus all the extra stuff.

Nope, its a bit more inclusive than the Deluxe DDP. On plat and premium all meals cost 1 credit, regardless of whether they are 2 credit meals on either DDP. Some restaurants not included on DDP are included on plat and premium, like Rainforest Cafe. And of course Victoria and Alberts is included on plat.

For adults, I believe premium is approx $150 per night per person, platinum is approx $200 per night per person - added to a room and ticket package. I have no idea what the child rate is since we don't have children. I'm not sure those figures are actually posted on Disney's website, however I have gotten those same numbers for the past few trips by removing the costs I know (room rate, ticket cost) from my total package price - and by just watching the price change on the online reservation system.
