• The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration has advised Delta today that U.S. domestic commercial aviation operations won't resume until 6 p.m. (EDT) Sept. 12, at the earliest. The FAA has not set a specific timeline for resuming commercial flights after 6 p.m. When flights are allowed, they will be approved on a very limited basis. As a result of this decision, Delta and it's Connection carriers Atlantic Coast Airlines, Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Comair and SkyWest have decided to cancel all scheduled flights through 5 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13. Delta will announce as soon as possible when scheduled flights will resume, consistent with FAA authorization and operational requirements.

Reissues
Customers with confirmed reservations through September 18 may make changes to their travel dates with no penalties, additional collection or administrative fees, provided passengers are rebooked in the same class of service with in the next 60 days.

Refunds
When alternate travel options do not meet our customer travel needs, refunds are permitted for passengers traveling September 11-18, 2001. Penalties and/or administrative fees will be waived.

If your travel has been interrupted, please contact a Delta Reservation Sales representative at 800-221-1212 or the number on the back of your SkyMiles membership card to be reaccommodated. For your convenience, if you are not traveling until next week, please call us back at a later date.
