Delta/Song Rant

It used to be that I was happy if I got a r/t fare of around $225, direct. Now, I've gotten spoiled and hate spending more that $175!!! But, I would be happy with the $225 again if the airlines would give me those great times again and then keep the schedule about the same without all the changing around. I would even be happy to wait until 6 months or so before my travel date to book if it meant that I could count on flying at the time I originally booked!!!

Well, times were never guaranteed. I used to travel 200+ days per year, and even I, with my super-duper elite status, sometimes got jerked around. The last time it was as easy to travel as many of us would hope it would be was back when airline tickets were in the four-figure range.
