For those of us who were booked on Song flying out BDL after May1st, the flight numbers have changed and we are now on Delta flights and different plane configurations. The good news is that there are still three non-stops both ways. The first flights out of BDL and MCO will be on 737-800's and the 2 other
flights will use MD-88s. We will probably need to call Delta....I would wait until tomorrow or Monday to get seat re-assignments. This is more important now since the configurations have changed from a 757 to either a 737 or MD-88. Probably more so with the MD-88's. Also, you will need to update your DME info with the new flight numbers. ;)

I was just looking at that for November . . .the seat configuration is strange starting with Seat #10 for the MD-88. Are those planes small? I don't ever think I've flown on one before.

We are definitely going to miss Song!

Rows 1 - 4 are first class so it won't show up when we "regular folks" select coach or lowest fares. The Delta MD-88's are configured with 14 first class seats and 128 coach seats for a total of 142. About 50+ shy of the Song 757
configuration. ;)

MD-88's are 3 seats on the left and 2 seats on the right (as you are sitting). They are very long, I think over 30 rows (they skip from 4 to 10 behind first class). I fly them all the time PIT/ATL, they are pretty good.

Just wondering if you have really been rebooked on delta. :confused3 We are flying out may 2 and our reservations still say song. We just got off the phone and were told they are not changing reservations at this time. This is the second time delta has done this to us last dec they pulled our flight going and we had mvmsp tickets that night we ended up spending close to 300 extra dollars for a extra night stay and car rental :furious:

I would suggest you call, as I did today. Went from 2031 on Song to 929 on Delta and we're flying out on 5/7. I got one of the nicest reps ever from Delta who took care of our seat assignments, actually got exit rows for the two of us.
This is also your chance to change the flight. We were scheduled to come home at 12:00 noon on the 12th and she asked me if I wanted the 11:15 or 4:20? Best to be pro-active. Even though your itinerary still shows the Song flight, reservations does not. Good luck! :coffee:

I have called Delta 800 and song 800 number today and both times I was told that if I changed there would be an extra charge because it was my choice at this time to change...could it be because we are flying out the 2nd of May?

I had tickets booked on Song out of JFK for my sister in June and for us in November. Although are itineraries stiil stated the song flights I booked, those flights don't exist anymore. I called and had all the flights reissued for times I wanted. I'll have to pull my son out of school an hour early, but it was eiher that or arrive close to midnight.

My one question is that the flights I chose for my sister are cheaper than her original flights. The agent said we couldn't be credited the difference.

Can I ask you what you said to the reservation clerk? When I called I said I was leaving from BDL on the 2nd of May Song flight # 2033 and understood that this flight and my return flight had been pulled and could I chang to Delta flights and I was told both times no. Any hints :confused3

Manda -
I would double check your itinerary for May 2nd on-line if you can. It looks like they have updated their system with the new flight changes and folks who were on 2033 should now be on 929. You should still call to get "confirmed" seat assignments as they may have randomly moved you during the conversion. If you have trouble with the rep you get, asked to be transferred to the reissue desk. Also, if you have a skymiles number try the 1-800 323-2323 number. Keep us posted! :thumbsup2

Thank you all for the help. This morning when I checked my flights they had been changed to Delta flighs. All the many people I spoke to yeaterday had to say is they would be updating as of today and I wouldn't have been so concerned. All they kept on saying was they had no idea when changes would be made and if I changed to the am Delta flight on the same day I would be charged and that was after speaking to a supervisor. Alls well and hopefully no more changes. Everyone enjoy their trips! :goodvibes

I just called this morning, too, as my 4/29 flight times had changed. I was automatically refered to the Re-issue Desk by the reservation clerk. The Re-issue Desk representative was easier to speak with and was very helpful. I was even able to change my 5/6 return flight to a better time, due to all the schedule changes. Good luck to everyone with their changes.

I have 2 flights in Nov with Delta Song. I just called & they have rebooked our family for both, with almost the exact times (off by a half an hour) still "NON STOP" & rebooked our seat assignments.

We are very happy!!! pixiedust:

Thanks for posting my flights for November were changed also out of LaGuardia. Times changed as well.
