Delta Song experiences?

Mousekemom, I keep coming up with the $230 fare. Thats okay though...I will just keep my fingers crossed and keep checking every day and see if I can do any better. :D

Rootskate; check my previous post. Try early tomorrow for your flights. They
only limit a number of seats each day with a low fare! Good luck!

pcfriar80....hmm...that sounds like a plan, lol. Say I can only get the lower price on one ticket...are you saying book that one ticket and then keep checking in the morning for the next few days to try to get it again for the second ticket that I need?

Exactly! I'm not sure if you need 2 or 8, so check with 1 and if you see the lower price, then check with 2, etc. If the price increases on 2 or whatever
number, book the one at the lower price and then check the next day for the remaining tickets......Get the cheap ticket(s) while you can. I have made the mistake in the past of booking 1 cheaper ticket (176) and one other (230) at the same time, just to find out it decreases the next couple of days. I've been reimbursed via vouchers, but it's just not the same. I'll be watching for ya!!!

pcfriar80...I only need 2 tickets. I will be trying this first thing tomorrow morning! I will let you know how it goes! Thanks for the tips!

I've booked each leg of my Flysong fares as one-way tickets too. Right now, your Sunday departure is only $79. You could book that and keep checking back for your return date. I've had good luck booking that way.

Rootskate; what I noticed this AM is a 5/8 - 5/13 RT is $176.70, 5/8 -5/14 and beyond is $230. I see a pattern here, so try back Thursday or Friday and see if you have any luck. No need to pay $230 just yet!

...I just searched for flights at flysong.com and for your dates, I'm coming back with a fare of $212 R/T. That's $79.00 flying out and $133.00 flying back home. (Maybe you should just STAY at WDW! :earboy2: ) That doesn't include all the taxes and fees they add, but that's the base price I'm getting.
Actually FYI, all prices quoted on www.flysong.com include all taxes and fees, which is a big plus in my book. While we also have the option of flying JetBlue here in the Boston area, their quotes do not include everything, so I always add it all in when doing a comparison (yeah, JetBlue is awesome too, nice to have such choice).

Heads up!

Coupl'a weeks ago I did a Song booking and, although the first screen shows this flight costs $69., that flight costs $119., the final screen shows a higher grand total reflecting some additional charges, I think those charges are the airport passenger facility charges per flight segment that vary from one airport to another. Even though the first screen shows the airports I selected.

Next trip: Jan 1-7 '05, Pop Century

We flew Song for our trip to Orlando in October and loved it. Both flights were on time even though there was a fist fight on the plane !! They handled that situation perfectly as both individuals were taken off the plane and after the police took statements from the fligh attendants and the capt. came out to apologize for the drama we were on our way. We ordered Shrek 2 on our way to Orlando and played the trivia came on our way back to NYC. The flight attendants were very nice, we enjoyed the music and the TV and We will be flying Song again in Oct. '05.

WE ARE FLYING FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH SONG, 11/05 OUT OF LGA. YOU ARE GOING THE MONTH BEFORE. ARE YOU GOING TO DW FOR THE TRICK OR TREAT FEAST? WAS ON THE DISNEY CRUISE THIS PAST NOV. & ALOT OF PEOPLE WERE COMING FROM IT.

I NEVER HEARD OF THIS ADVENT, & WOULD LOVE TO HEAR MORE ABOUT IT.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

It was two men fighting on the plane. It happened while people were still boarding. Everything was fine until I heard the F.A. yell for someone to call for the police. The only thing my DH and I could think of was perhaps they bumped into each other. We're just lucky that they didn't kick everyone off!!
We are going down to FL. for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal, MNSSHP at Disney and the F&WF at Epcot. We're also gonna try and get to Howl-o-Scream at Busch Gardens. I hope you have a wonderful trip :flower1:

Kinda off topic...but I've seen fights adt BDL when SWA boards.

Joe in CT

Looks like some 5/8 - 5/15 flights BDL/MCO are $176 now....took awhile. Check the 2 early flights 1997 and ???? I would assume some of the later flights will follow suit. I thought is would have been sooner, but at least it's happening.
BTW I checked using FLYSONG.Com, not Delta.com.

pcfriar80...Here is what I ended up doing....Early this morning I noticed that the morning flight (the 8:20) had dropped to $79.00. So I booked the one way fare to MCO on the 8th for $79.00. Now I am just keeping my fingers crossed that the return flight on the 15th (the one that departs at 5:53) also drops to $79.00!!! I will let you know how it goes...... :D

Also....forgot to mention...I did this on flysong.com, not Delta.com

Rootskate, I hope you're checking the website again, all prices have come down. HTH

I've been pricing for awhile and Song has the best price for us at $176.90 BDL - MCO May 1 - 7.

Wow...alot of people here from Connecticut!! Has anyone gotten anything better than $230-$235 per person in May? (BDL to MCO, roundtrip). So far, thats the best I have seen on Delta Song. (My dates are the 8-15th) Thanks, Donna

I went through Orbitz and am flying Delta Song May 2-11 from BDL to MCO, early a.m. at $166/pp. Five tickets (with one discounted for carseat child) totalled just over $800. Give them a try and see how you do! I made out better on pricing by changing our departure from a Tuesday to a Monday. I couldn't understand why, but we changed our dates to benefit from cheaper rates! :flower1:

Yes indeed...I have been checking the website often!! Still waiting to book my return flight for the 15th. I wonder why only the early morning flight dropped to $79.00 and the other 2 later ones are still $133? I did try Orbitz, but for our dates it actually comes out to more $. (Unfortunately, our dates are not flexible) :guilty:
