Looking for cheap or free (I can hope!) delta skymiles. Anyone have any ideas?

You can try www.e-miles.com which will award you a very miniscule amount of SkyMiles. Other than that, I'm at a loss. You can apply for a Delta SkyMiles American Express card. There are varying levels of accrual but as that rate gets better, the annual fee goes higher. Good luck.

Delta is currently running a promotion to earn extra bonus miles (up to 25,000) for a variety of partner transactions. I've already done a skymiles dining transaction and transferred a few Starwood points. I'll book my upcoming SuperShuttle transport via the Delta link tomorrow. One more partner transaction (probably via Skymiles Shopping) and I'll have earned 4,000 bonus Skymiles.

e-Rewards is similar to e-Miles; you complete surveys to earn money, which can be used to redeem for airline miles as well as other things. You can see if the restaurants you go to participates in Skymiles dining and if you shop online, you can see which stores are part of Skymiles shopping (there are a lot of popular stores).

I think the big questions are how many do you need and how quickly do you need them? That might help people to come up with some viable ideas

Sign up for a Northwest Worldperks account

Take an easy 4 part class to earn 400 points at their World Perks University page
