Just looking for opinions on whether the priority comfort seats on Delta are worth the extra dollars? Thanks.

I paid $59 for an Orange Co - Atlanta flight in September. My knee was bothering me so I wanted to be able to stretch out my legs more. There's about 3 or 4 more inches leg room and the seats recline a little more. The seat itself is the same, there's no extra width. There's no extra drinks or food on domestic. I thought it was worth it for a long flight, for a short one I wouldn't pay.

Agreed.

If you normally feel cramped by the seat in front of you on a plane, you will notice the difference. Up to you whether or not that difference means something.

I think this is another thing you just have to try once to see if it is worth it to you. We just did this in October for our three hour flight to Orlando. We all thought it was worth it. I always feel a little closed in and appreciated the space. My kids are tall and appreciated the extra leg room. It's not a huge difference, but enough to make it a little more comfortable.

What we also really liked was Zone 1 boarding. Easy to find space for our carry ons. It's also nice to be toward the front of the plane if you have a close connection somewhere.

Like everything with Delta, my experience shows that it depends on the plane. On some planes models (757's from my experience), the Economy Comfort is the first few rows of coach and they have not had the pitch expanded yet. On other planes (737-800 and 767 ER), they did have 2-3 extra inches of pitch which is good for domestic flights, but not so good going to London.

. . . but not so good going to London.

1) Youbetcha.
2) A few of us went to London last month for six nights on a theater tour.
3) Wife and I flew Business (used our air miles), the rest went Coach.
4) Two couples did the Comfort Seats on an Airbus 330.
5) They had no advantage over the others who went normal Coach.
. . . most A-330's have been reconfigured with 3-4 inches more leg room
. . . our A-330 had not been adjusted, but still were charged as if they were
