I bought our tickets last week, and I checked again today it went down by about 100 dollars each. How do I go about getting a credit voucher for that?

Thanks.

Delta has a very high change fee and they consider any thing after 24hrs a change even a drop in air fare.
"Change Fees
Based on the fare rules, you may have to pay a service fee and/or a difference in fare. For travel within the 50 United States, the fee is $150 for Delta flights.

For travel outside the United States, the change fee is typically $250, but can vary based on location and type of fare. Changes are usually permitted only to the return portion of an international itinerary."

So even though your fare dropped by $100, as long as you have a nonrefundable ticket you'll still owe them $50.
You're only in luck if your ticket is refundable or you purchased it less than 24hrs ago.

just call delta and say u seen the price droped and you would like the a credit .. the credit is only good for one year

the chnage fee is only if you change your flight times ...

BUT...this is the info that sounds applicable to your situation:

What if I find a lower total fare (including all taxes and fees) on delta.com for my same itinerary?
If you find a lower fare by 12 midnight Eastern Time on the same day you purchased your ticket at delta.com, you can access your itinerary via delta.com and click on the “Change Flights” button. Your new fare will be ticketed and the refund for the difference in fares will be credited to your original form of payment. You will not be eligible for the $100 transportation voucher since the lower fare was found on delta.com for your exact same itinerary.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. Delta considers anything after 24hrs a change even a drop in airfare on a nonrefundable ticket. So the change fee would more than consume the difference in price. I've been there and done that before, which is why whenever I use Delta, I try to make sure that the fare would be comparable to the best fare I can get on any airline for that time of year. If I am willing to pay more and take a chance then another airline such as JetBlue or Southwest who will refund or give credit for the lwere price will be my choice.
But the best advice would be to call and ask Delta themselves.

This happened to us in the past and unfortunately I was told by Delta at the time that I would have to pay $150/ticket to change to the lower fare. Since a week has gone by unfortunately I don't think you will have much luck with getting a credit for the difference. The price would have to go down dramatically to cover the $150/ticket fee (not sure if it is still that price, may have gone up). Thankfully for us we booked our Delta fares back in Sept for this coming Aug. and since then they have done nothing but go up so we lucked out.

You don't get a credit on Delta.

Only airlines that give credit...I apologize if I am wrong but think this is what I have learned from these boards are Jet Blue, Air Tran and Southwest. As others state they charge you a change fee THEN refund any difference.

OP just DON'T look at the prices once you have purchased unless you fly SW, AT or Jet Blue (and like I said please someone correct me if that list is wrong).

Still in situations like this instead of any of us giving the OP 'guesses' on what Delta or any other airline would do I don't understand why OP doesn't pick up the phone and call and see what Delta says or try making change on website. This happens in so many cases weekly with airlines, hotels and rental cars. People post a question then receive so many different answers from well meaning people, sometimes good information and sometimes incorrect. People just need to call and ask....it may take the time but it is only way to get correct information.

This has happened to me before with Delta - one time within the 24 our purchasing window and I re-booked the flight with the lower fare and called Delta and they canceled the original tickets and issued a credit on my credit card.

The second time was just a few weeks ago. I had been watching fares for our trip to WDW in August and the price was really reasonable, but I waited a little too long to purchase as I wasn't ready to commit 100% to going on the trip. When we finally decided that we were definitely going, the fare went up a few times and I waited for it to go down. It went down to a price I was comfortable with (but not as low as when I originally started looking) so I booked. A couple of weeks later it went down $50 per person, which was $20 lower than when I first started looking! I was fully aware of Delta's policy and just had to live with it. I decided that day that I would stay away from Delta's site! Honestly, it has went the other way with me too - where I have booked and then watched the price go up and up. I am comfortable with what I paid for my trip in August (which btw is $272 cheaper per person than what I paid for my last trip to WDW a month ago), so the increase didn't bother me that much.

This is why we fly Southwest to Disney because fares fluctuate SO much and when they drop, we get the credit back to use on our next trip.

When you purchased your tickets and had to agree to the rules of the fare which includes a $150 charge to change. Why ask Delta to change the agreement you made with them? When the fare goes up next week, you are again going to call the pay the higher fare, correct?
