We leave MCO at 635 and arrive around 750 in ATL.

Our flight out of ATL to go home is NOW scheduled for 615.

I have a feeling we are going to loose a few hours on our last day.

I'll just wait a few days to see if anything changes.

Hey poohbear2- we got caught with the magic trick too. Can you ask them to route you through another city so you can use your original MCO flight? You should not have to give up valuable vaca time!

In our case, they eliminated our flight! And when we tried to rebook, the person in India, told us we could not reschedule as there were no flights available! Our original ressies allowed us to book our FF tix during pres week (I think, usually a blackout date) so we were thilled that our request went through. Then one day-POOF! GONE! After many hours and several people DH finally got us booked on a 5:30 am flightthat same day! We were leaving at 10 ish am. SO we are now gong to be there alot earlier-and will have to get up ALOT earlier. It is a pain.

Good luck, try another city and try to keep your 6:35 flight to get the most out of your day!

Hi poohbear2! This happened to me too. Our flight from MCO was scheduled to depart at 6:23 and arrive in Atlanta at 7:59. Then we were supposed to catch a flight at around 9:30 and then home. They canceled our flight too and we were scheduled for the ATL flight at 6:15 too but of course we weren't even going to arrive in ATL until an hour and 45 minutes after the flight left! I did call Delta though because I know service to NH is limited. The Delta booking agent said all the evening flights were already overbooked and she was talking an early morning flight out of MCO. So I asked her to put us back on the 3:25 p.m. flight out of MCO. Good luck with your flights. If you're from NH too you may want to call and see what is available. You are the one who originally posted about this Delta fare and that is how I got the $128 R/T tickets. Even with the multiple flight changes and many, many calls to Delta reservations it has all been worth it. Thanks again! You really did save me about $500. :goodvibes

I would call now and see what your options are. Take a look athe flights before you call so you know what would work for you.

I wouldn't wait. I'd call them now to see what the options were. There's several flights a day from MCO to ATL so that shouldn't be an issue - it's from ATL to whereever you're going that might be a problem. Good luck!

If the customer service rep. on the phone does not seem to understand you whether s/he be in India, France, Korea, or downtown, ask to speak to a supervisor.

Look on the airline's web site for alternate flights. If poof your already made reservation is gone, even if it is a frequent flyer basic or saver or non-choice or non-standard or non-anytime award, the airline ought to give you a seat on the flight of your choice that is not sold out. Again, ask for supervisors and/or complaint resolution officers if needed and point out that you had a reservation on such and such a time.

I just got off the phone with Delta and I took the latest flight out which was 345 or something like like. So I'll have a few hours less, not so bad. I 'll probably be ready to be home by then anyway, LOL.

poohbear2-keep checking delta.com every week - you are 3 months out and things may and probably will change again - Atlanta is our final destination and on our last visit in June (05) we were on our "scheduled flight" but the size of the aircraft changed so we were bumped from 1st to separate seating in the last row of coach - we were told that things were being changed - we just returned from a little January getaway (3rd thru 8th) and flew on a much larger jet than scheduled with empty seats - there was a flight added just before ours and one added apparently after ours - I still do not understand the Delta thing and have flown them all my life!!!! I do know that often there are flights and seats on Delta.com that the folks on the phone are unaware of :crazy2:
