Delta - economy plus seating??

I have a question for all of the experienced travelers out there. I usually fly United but have Delta booked for our trip to Orlando next month.

With United, when you get the e-mail notice to check in online for the flight, you usually have the option to upgrade to "economy plus" or "premier" for a fee. This gives you a seat with more leg room and with the premier it includes priority boarding and 2 free bags. I usually do this when I travel for work.

I am wondering if Delta offers anything similar? I looked on their website but didnt see anything.

Thanks in advance!

United is the only US based airline with economy plus seating.

True, United is the only one with a seating deal like that and is by far the biggest hawker of "upgrade" options, but other airlines may offer some kind of upgrade options at check in. US Air, for example, has a deal where you pay around $100 to get a priority boarding zone and a "free" checked bag. With Delta, however, I can only recall being given the option to buy a first-class upgrade on the rare occasions when they are available.

I will check into the first class upgrades when we get there. Unfortunately, i would only have enough miles to do my seat but since I am traveling with my little one, i dont think that will work ;)

Thanks everyone!

I have been offered upgrade options to first/business class, but often for more then the cost of my entire round trip ticket.
