What happened to these?

I had been keeping my eyes on flight prices for March or early summer, but now all direct flights are gone beginning Jan 7. Is Song coming to Indy, or are they just trying to fill the connecting flights before offering the direct flights again.

They have been reducing these for a while now. I am not surprised to see that you have to go through Cincy or ATL since they are Delta's hubs. Delta has some real issues with costs, especially pilot compensation. They are reducing capacity and flights on a dramatic scale. If you have to fly Delta, be thankful you can get the options you have.

I used to be a frequent Delta customer but for Orlando trips I use ATA now. Prices are better and the flight times are better. And they are direct flights.

Delta discontinued all direct flights from Indianapolis to Orlando.I now fly ATA and happy with them.

I know shortly after 9/11 Delta stopped their direct flights, but did put them back as Chautauqua Airlines flights. We are booked on them this Christmas. They had been showing up for 2004, but now they are gone.

I too have used ATA, but by having Delta you had more options and some competition to have reduced rates.

Southwest provides all the competition you need. ATA and SWA are the ones to take from IND to MCO. Delta was price competitive periodically but not as a course of action.

We got RT tickets this dec. from IND to MCO for $118 via USAir.
