Delta comment & ponchos for kids...

We are scheduled to leave for Disney Wed, Sept 26. We are flying from Indy to MCO on a direct flight.

I checked with the Indy airport as well as with Delta express. Allow no less than 2 hours minimum for security check points and I might warn my kids that we could be patted down (they were fine with this and thought it cool..lol) I was told it was a very good idea for me to have 2 photo id's for myself and one photo id for my boys who are 6 and 9.

I checked with my local office of DMV nearby and can obtain a photo ID of the boys for about $7 each with their birth certificates.

I also have a question....does anyone know where you can buy a kids sized poncho before you get to WDW? I don't want them to blend into the crowd in those yellow ones but my 6 year old is so small we can't even cut down an adult sized one for him....any suggestions anyone??

I found children's ponchos at Wal Mart but they only had yellow. We used bright colored fabric paint (bought at the craft store) and painted on the ponchos...we painted fish and mermaids. Their ponchos are still yellow but they definitely stand out in a crowd now and, another bonus, they got tons of compliments on their unique ponchos.

Outdoor world here in NC has childrens in all colars....our dauaghters is blue...it is a sporting goods store so you may want to try these type stores

We got ours a Wal-mart for less than $5.00 each and got RED kids and adult ones..
