Hi fellow DISers,,

My best friend is getting married in St. Lucia in October and I am looking into air fare for 2 adults.
My air fare is deemed "non-refundable/non changeable".
Does that mean I can't change or cancel? Or can I cancel with a change fee? I wouldn't mind having to pay a change fee if my boyfriend can't go,but don't want to eat the $610 it would cost to cancel.

Thanks!

It depends on the class of fare that you buy. Some of the fare classes can not be changed.

St. Lucia is an international destination, so that would be a change fee of at least $250 per ticket, plus any difference in the fare from your original ticket. Some of Delta's tickets are not eligible for any changes. Read and understand the rules before purchasing any tickets. It might be cost effective to buy a more expensive refundable ticket if it's likely you'll have to make changes.
