Delivery of MVMCP tickets

I just purchased tickets for MVMCP on Dec 16 and getting the DVC discounted tickets. There will be 7 tickets which I purchased through member services. When I asked to have them shipped to me the castmember said that they could not do that and that I would have to pick them up and show my card. I found this odd since I gave him my number and he could see from my resort reservation that there were 7 people staying on the reservation. I understand that people might use the discount to but tickets for other people but he could see that I had the room. Where do I pick up the tickets and can I only do it that night or can I pick them up at the VWL where I am staying? Thanks

For DVC discounted tickets you must pick them up at will call at the MK. You can pick them up prior to the event date. There is a limit of 6 DVC discounted tickets per membership.

we had ours shipped to us for $3.00 (they were DVC discounted). Figured it was one less line to worry about. They arrived about a week later. Nice Plastic Cards.

I've picked up many many tickets at the concierge desk where I'm staying, including DVC discounted tickets for the Pirate & Princess Party (we normally stay at OKW).

Shipping DVC discount tickets is not policy. You need to show a picture and membership ID. It does happen, but it's because the Advisor made a mistake. I just wanted to mention this in case your advisor adheres to the policy and refuses to ship your tickets.

I agree. It's policy to issue the discounted tickets (both AP and DVC) with "Will Call" confirmation numbers.

FWIW, you should be able to pick up party tickets at your resort. We've picked up ours at the Concierge Desk. It only takes a minute or two.

When I called for my tix, I got a confirmation #, and was told we need to pick them up at Will Call window. That's fine by me, since I won't have to worry about losing them or forgetting them at home.

So, I can pick them up at the Concierge Desk at the resort? We're staying at SSR.

Same with me- I bought tickets for December 9th and the CM quoted me a price w/ shipping. Never even asked if I wanted the option of picking them up will call.

I liked having it mailed to me, they are hard plastic cards like the key to the world cards and have a very nice design on them. Much nicer than the boring paper tickets I got at will call last year.

Someone on here gave the idea of taking your old KTTWC and making them into fridge magnets, the hard plastic tickets will work out grrrrrrrreat for that
