Deli sandwiches!

My husband is wondering if there are any can't-miss deli sandwiches on property. He's a bit of a meat snob, and especially loves a pastrami on rye that requires "unhinging your jaw." I looked at Earl of Sandwich but I didn't see anything like New York deli there. Am I wrong? Can you think of other places with amazing sandwiches? (He is reluctant about going to Disney so I'm trying to find great stuff for him right off the bat.) Thanks!

There is nothing anywhere on WDW property that approximates a New York deli.

The closest "deli sandwich" you'll find at Disney will just be turkey sandwiches on multigrain bread at QS or a turkey club at some TS. Earl of Sandwich is closest to a deli, but can't compare to a NY deli for sure!

I want to preface this by saying I have never ate there but the Plaza Restaurant has a Reuben Sandwich. From the sounds of it and some of the trip reports, it is pretty big. Enjoy your trip.

It's just not my personal thing to want a deli sandwich at Disney (they're ubiquitous here in Jersey), but I'm surprised Earl of Sandwich doesn't have them. I've never been there but I just thought that's the kind of place it is. Glad I learned that bit of info in case I ever need it!
