They also have a monthly magazine here in the states--it's quite good.

Well - post the links then :)

(and don't forget the most important safety rule - safety glasses!)

Hi Guy's

I have to admit to being a TOH fan myself.....I find it so fascinating to see how some people in the US live.......'tho I have a good laugh when I see the home owners complaining that they need more room in their kitchen......only to see that the kitchen is already the size of the living room of a standard UK 2 up 2 down:rolleyes:

The web site looks fun....I cant wait to see the "Tommy Cam" in action LOL....it'll have to wait until I get back tho'.

Have a great day,

Paul

I'll have to let my brother know about the site. He has a whole repertoire of catch phrases from This Old House, New Yankie Workshop, and Home Again with Bob Vila.

Paul,

Your comment about kitchens struck a note with me. We've recently moved, and my new kitchen, while nicer, is much smaller than my old kitchen. I've been whinning (according to DH) about it nonstop. Of course, then he starts in on the "you could be liivng in the third world and dealing with a mud floor routine". I'm never happy.

BTW you guys probably already know this, but the overwhelming majority of the people whose homes are featured on TOH are very wealthy. Years ago, they worked on a triple-decker house in Boston that was bought for near to nothing by a middle class woman. They had a tight budget and it was interesting to see how they managed that.

Do you guys have a program like TOH over there?
