Virgin are due a sale soon, usually starts boxing day I think so i'd hold out another week or so and see if you can get better prices then i'm 99.9% sure Vegas was included in the sale over christmas/new year last year.
Also if you try www.kayak.co.uk they search all carriers for you and you can search dates over a longer period than Virgins 3 days.
BA also fly direct to Vegas now I think.
