I saw this in Costco and wondered how it was. Keep us posted on how you like it over time. I have EA Active and it seemed similar - but I might like the Biggest Loser graphics and what not.
 

I also saw this at Costco this weekend. Glad you enjoy it! I hope to buy it and start letting it kick my butt shortly.:cool1:
 
Sounds like fun! I am not that into the Wii Fit, for some reason, nor the Jillian bootcamp one. This sounds like an improvement, though.
 
excellent!! i just bought it too this week with Targets buy 2 get one free sale. I was debating on giving it to DH for a christmas present for me....but sounds like i'll do better to crack it open today! i have Jillian 2009 and am disappointed in it. my DDs got me for Mother's Day so i'm hesistant to get rid of it...but i believe it's heading towards an ebay listing
 
Does this game require anything from the Wii Fit? I don't have that but would be interested in trying this out?
 
I just did my first workout with this today. I picked the 12 week program and it set my weight loss at 32 pounds. I would be amazed if I could lose this in 12 weeks. I am also doing weight watchers, so hoping that the two of them together will really help my effort. Has anyone weighed in yet and how has your loss been? I would love to hear about others results with this.
 
Silly question for most of you but I live in an apartment and can't "jump" around. I only use the appropriate games/programs on Wii Fit because of the noise limitations. Is one able to use Wii Biggest Loser without jumping?

I just bought the game today and on intermediate, there were jumping jacks and other running type exercises. My son is doing the beginner workout and hasn't had to do any jumping around.

It is definitely a tougher workout than I thought it'd be. I'm doing 8 weeks, which the game says 22 lbs. We'll see. Honestly, I couldn't finish today. My legs were just too dead. :laughing:
 
I have been wanting the game for awhile. I think next Friday I'm going to finally give in and get it. I need something to do on my off days from training at the gym. Can you do a simple work out or does it have to be high level work outs?
 
You can do simple workouts. Mine today was 18 minutes of easy yoga.

I do have to say that the more I play this game, the more I dislike it. There are no clear instructions of when to switch to a different move and in some you can't see the screen, so you have to wrench your neck to see if it changed. The other thing I hate is how you have to frequently change where you keep the Wii remote. Wear something with pockets. they tell you to put it in your pocket for some exercises and then you have to switch to a hand, then to the other hand. Annoying for me.

The workouts do make you sweat (well, me anyway) and any exercise is better than sitting on the couch eating nachos, which is what I'd rather do. lol. :D It is definitely more intense than the Wii Fit game.

Me too!! I'm still going on the old move and they're half way through the next one! I wish they would say "last time" or something.

Okay I am a bit slow...I set it up to do the 4 week beginner program and did it both yesterday and today but under "training" nothing is showing up and Bob yelled at me! :eek: I am obviously not doing something right...I am going in and selecting beginning workout, light, 12 minutes, warmup of 6 minutes and cool down of 8 minutes. What should I be doing?

I just finished my first workout this evening and you have to go into the "Fitness program" section in order for it to record what you are doing. Is that what you mean?

I was pretty happy with the workout! I am doing an 8 week program (although I wish I had chosen 4 weeks just to get my feet wet) intermediate. I did notice what you mean when you do the floor exercises that you don't know when they are finished, but you do get a few seconds to move from one to the other before it starts up. I'll have to update in a few weeks to see if I am still liking/doing it!! :banana:
 
Thanks - I'll try going into the fitness program. Do you select your own workout or do you do one that they have in the fitness program for you?
