Dehydrated Marshmallow

Does anyone know where I can buy dehydrated marshmallows, like the ones at 7-11?

They are the ones that come in packets of hot cocoa mix, and also in some cereals.

AH! Do they sell those without the hot cocoa?? lol I always thought of them as "fake" marshmellows. Kind of like the meat in raviolis. Not REALLY beef, just to leave the impression of beef.

I think they are actually marshmellows, just "dry".

I actually just saw some about a month ago at an apple orchard. I had no idea you could buy them seperatly!

I just don't understand the concept of a crunchy marshmellow.

Seriously though, OP, are you wanting them to add to your own cocoa or cereal? Just curious what they are used for otherwise.

Seems Kraft makes them, you could e-mail them and see if they can tell you if any store in your area sells them.

You could just buy a bag and let them sit open on the counter for a few days or weeks. That ought to do it.

Yes I want to use them in my hot cocoa at work, it seems that there is never enough of them in the hot chocolate when they come together!!!! I love these little marshmallows.

I read somewhere else that you could buy them at stores that sell their product in batches, but I can't find them anywhere!!!!

I LOVE those things.

Don't tell my kids, but I'm the one who eats all the marshmallows from the Lucky Charms. Shhh.

I don't know if you have any amish grocery stores in your area, but I use to call on an area that had them and I have seen them in the amish stores. They had all kinds of really cool "shelf stable" foods you could buy!

AmyJ - How funny you said that, I actually asked 7-11 if I could and they weren't budging!! They weren't even telling me where they order them from...I guess I should try another 7-11!!!!

Do you have a Gordons Food Service or restaurant supply store near you? If so, I would try there. It seems like the kind of thing they would have.
