This character seems slightly more classless than "Smiling Bob" the Enzyte "male performance enhancer" guy, but not nearly as funny.
Considering the demographic that buys DVC, perhaps "Bob" is a little more relevant as well.

I don't mind fellow DVC members seeing Deevy - but I would be a bit embarrassed if colleagues asked me if she was part of the "same Disney Vacation Club" that I am a member of.

Deevy showed up at Welcome Home Wednesday this past Wednesday (don't know if she usually does--it was our first time there). I actually found her fairly amusing.

Deevy is an insult to my intelligence. I am not humorless and I love the fantasy and even silliness of Disney characters, but this character is stupid. The fact that she is a WOMAN makes me all the more offended. Too bad that DVC marketing is so out-of-touch and clueless. Why would anyone want to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a property promoted by this drivel?

Deevy's character is suppose to be fun. Our family loves her and makes a point of seeing her each visit.

For those of you that think she is an insult to your intelligence, I believe you need to relax and not be so up tight. DVC is not trying to portray any of its members with her character. They are displaying sense of humour which represents fun for all walks of life
