Deep fried pickles

I have been eating them for years. I love them more than anything. Anyway, they don't have them o property, but I think there is a Hooters pretty close and they have them. And yes, I do take my kids to Hooters.

Hooters does have good fried pickles. I take my kid to Hooters, too. He loves wings.

Another place that has them is Texas Roadhouse.. We went to one in GA over Christmas break and my DD wanted them and I thought...Ewww but we ordered them and DH, DS17, DD and I all loved them..Granted its not something I want very often but its pretty good for fried food..

Same here. But I get into trouble with a certain family member that disagrees with me taking my kids to Hooters. They are interested in food only. They don't care about the "other" attractions. lol

Heck, I have my own and I still go to Hooters. Their wings and other bar food is actually pretty good. When I used to be able to have alcohol we would go there are a big group of girls and get wings and beers. Yum!

It was nice in the Lehigh Valley today until the wind picked up! Ok so there's at least 3 people on here from the Lehigh Valley (past & present) - any good spots around here for fried pickles? We don't have a Hooters...

We have a couple of local catfish buffets and also a couple of wing places around here that have really great fried pickles. My 14 y/o grand daughter can make a meal on them.:rotfl: A couple of years ago, I had a aunt from West Virginia that came to visit for several weeks. We took her (with my grand daughter) to one of the catfish buffets. My aunt gave my grand daughter a hard time, asking how she could possibly eat something nasty like fried pickles as they sounded horrible. We finally talked her into trying just one. She made the most terrible face as it was going into her mouth, but then immediately fell in love with them, saying no way could a person ever eat just one. The next weekend she asked if we could go back to the 'fried pickle place'.:rotfl: I heard her on the phone one day trying to convince her daughter that they weren't gross. She finally made the comment, "oh well, it must be a southern thing, you know southerners will fry anything. Oh by the way, I also went to a flea market yesterday and ate a fried Snickers and tried fried oreos, again a southern thing":rotfl:. Her daughter was not impressed, told her mom to be careful, and reminded my aunt of the time I tricked her and her little brother into trying jalalenos peppers when we were kids, telling them they were really sweet.:rolleyes1:rotfl:

We're on the cusp of the Lehigh Valley (just north of Harmony NJ). We were recently at a restaurant in Macungie, The Buckeye Tavern, fried pickles are on the menu! :thumbsup2
