Dedicated studios - do those exist?

DH and I are considering booking our next trip in a studio instead of a one bedroom so we can extend our trip length.

This has me thinking about whether or not any of the resorts offer dedicated studios. I am thinking it would be much less noisy if there wasn't a connecting door to a 1 bedroom villa inside our studio.

Specifically, we are booking at our home resort of AKV right now and hope to switch to BLT at the 7 month window. Do those resorts have dedicated studios?

Jambo does, Kidani and BLT do not.

I've had them at BWV and AKV Jambo.

The dedicated studios at Jambo House used to be a separate booking category from the lockoffs but they eliminated those categories a few months ago. If you book a studio at Jambo House you could request to be assigned to a dedicated studio but it would just be a request, not a guarantee.

I believe I stayed in one at SSR. I stayed in a lock off at AKL and OKW both were noisy but eventually the children settled in and went to sleep. DH did have to knock on a door once as the situation sounded as if it was escalating out of control. It did improve things..I think they needed a 30 second break. I would not hesitate ever to see if someone needs assistance when you hear children out of control. Sometimes a friendly face is just what's needed.
