Can someone please explain to me the difference between a one bedroom and a dedicated one bedroom at the BWV? It would be helpful, so I know whether or not to request one. Thanks -

The dedicated rooms have no connecting door to a studio.
If you have a "lock off" one bedroom, the connecting doors between the studio and the one bedroom side are locked. They would be unlocked if the two units were combined and resereved as a 2 bedroom.
My advice is to request a dedicated unit. It's quieter without having the connecting doors (IMHO, of course - it depends on the group occupying the studio), and I think the dedicated units are (or at least feel) larger. The corner dedicated units (not a lot of those) have more windows and thus more light.
What Carol forgot to mention is that Boardwalk Villas have no dedicated two bedroom units. All the one bedrooms have a studio lock off to make it a two bedroom.

Yes, all the 2 bedrooms at the BWV are lock offs (so no dedicated two bedroom units at BWV). Those lock off units units can be rented as either a 2 bedroom or separately as a 1 bedroom lockoff and a studio lockoff.
However, there are some dedicated 1 bedroom units and some dedicated studio units. The dedicated studios are sometimes referred to as "studio plus". The dedicated units are "stand alone" - they do not have a connecting door that allows them to be made into a 2 bedroom.
