Still looking for a volunteer to host January. I will busy with two year ends so I can't take it on. Anyone? :)

I wish I could volunteer to host, but unfortunately things are a little too unstable for me right now. I hope someone can do it - I really love these exercise challenges!
 
I've updated it to here! As a team we have made over 80% of our goal!! Go Team!!

Team Progress – 12725/15575 = 81.7%

I'm bound and determined to make goal in January so as long as no one minds sporadic updates I'm willing to host again as it will help me stay on track!
 

500/500...and GOAL!! I think this is the 1st time I've ever made goal on 1 of these challenges! :-)

Congrats to ALL for working hard and setting a goal! Even if you fell a bit short (or a LOT short, like ME!), you still got out there and made the effort. Tomorrow is a new year and another opportunity to make a commitment to better health.

congratulations to everyone who made their goal and congratulations to the team for finishing up over 80%. December's a tricky month, so I think we all did really well as a whole.

I never did manage to make my goal of 1000 but I did pull off a huge last minute New Year's Eve party and I was on my feet for 6 hours (in heels) cooking and hosting and then 2 more hours of serious clean up - toys and confetti and food were everywhere! I think that I'm going to count that as even tho I didn't get 1000 exercise minutes, I got 1000 minutes worth of exercise last month!

I can't wait for the January thread to start. My p90x3 set came on Tuesday and I did the first workout this morning. It was soooo hard but I really liked it. My plan is to do this series from now until the end of march and then hope I have enough time to get back into running for the 5k that DH and I do each year the first weekend in may. I think I might just go out for a jog once a weekend or maybe i can make the program an 8 day rotation so I can have one day of running until April when ill go back to more running. I can definitely see that this will benefit my running from two things- first I will definitely be stronger and have more agility and core fitness. Second, I think I will lose weight also (especially since I'm also really watching what I eat). If I can lose some weight I know I'll be faster both for the 5k and for the wine and dine in the fall.
