1000/1000 Yay, I hit goal! I did 55 minutes today of strength training. So this last week has been food, wine, exercise, repeat (not necessarily in that order lol, exercising right after wine wouldn't be a good idea haha!). I'm gonna need a complete detox after the new year lol. So a question for everyone...I'm sure we all over indulge over the holidays. It's only human nature to do so and I believe everyone should indulge at times like this...holidays and when away on vacation. How do you all detox afterwards? Do you just go back to eating healthy? Avoid certain foods and beverages? Do a true body cleanse or detox? Most times, I just stay more conscious of my food choices and try to really minimize things like white flour and refined sugars, and focus mainly on fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean protein and healthy fats, with a good balance of them all. And of course drink plenty of water and exercise. I've also tried the shakeology 3-day cleanse, which incorporates 3 shakeology shakes per day plus some fruits and also a large salad for dinner with either grilled chicken or fish and olive oil and vinegar. Over the summer when we returned from WDW, I did the 3-day quick fix from the 21-day fix, in which you eat 6 times per day, roughly every two hours. It starts in the morning we steel cut oatmeal and egg whites , and throughout the day it's mainly chicken, fish and steamed veggies (although the second meal includes steamed sweet potatoes instead of veggies). Lots of water too of course. Keeps you full all day and definitely gets rid of excess water weight, plus gets you on the right track to healthy eating. I don't like super low calorie plans that don't incorporate solid food as a cleanse. I need a balance where I feel well the whole time,

I can't wait to detox ( I'm drinking my second beer and waiting for my pizza delivery as I type this, ha). I will probably go vegan for January to get back on track. Limit processed foods and add plenty of water and tea. I'm already ready vegetarian, have been for 25+ years so vegan for a month hete or there isn't too tough.
