OK, we just (and I mean just) joined DVC.
We have a short trip planned for this year, thinking about another short trip next year, but the trip I am already concerned about is our "big family trip of 2007".
In looking at how many points we have (350/year)and how many people are going (12), I'm thinking we'd be better off with 2, 2 bedroom units instead of a grand villa. That'll give us 8 sleeping units verses 6. Plus it won't cram all my family into one area for 10 or so days
. And it'll be less points
We'll be at SSR (our home) and I know they have some 2-bedrooms with 2 queens and some with the pullout in the 2nd bedroom.
My question is (yes I'm finally to the question portion of this post) is how likely/unlikely is it that we will be able to get 2 of the 2 queen 2nd bedrooms? Is this something that can be booked or would this just be a request? Any input would be appreciated.

It's good to hear that the "dedicated" 2BRs can be reserved. That takes a little of
out of trying to plan this.
