Ded 2 BR Sav View Kidani April

Any suggestions for room requests. I know there are no guarantees but would like to not get one of the "Savannah rooms that look over the pool". I have a 4/6 year old and can't wait to watch the animals from our balcony. Which floor should I request? Is there a map to show where the dedicated 2 beds are?

Savanna views do not look over the pool. With a Pembe savanna view some of the rooms can see the pool. Also,, there are no giraffes on the Pembe savana. Most of the Savanna view rooms overlook the Sunset Savanna. Would recommend requesting Sunset Savanna view and close to the lobby or just close to the lobby since all savanna views close to the lobby are views of Sunset. Reason for close to the lobby: Kidani building is more than a half mile long. On the Northern wing, the last Sunset savanna view rooms are over a 1/4 mile from the lobby, an extremely long walk when coming back from a day in the park and you have a 4 year old. Thus, request close to the lobby to avoid the walk down the endless hallway to nowhere. Dedicated 2BRs are located throught the building.

We'll be there in April in a ded 2br as well. We requested 3rd floor close to the lobby. Good Luck!

Hi. I was just there a couple of days ago...our room was on the third floor, but yes, we walked and walked and walked and walked to our room---it was not fun and I run for exercise!! Request to be near the lobby. Also, honestly, I was disappointed with the view...we saw mostly ankole cattle, a few giraffes, a couple of zebras, but it was really not the 'wow' factor I was hoping for. I wish I saved the money and got a standard view, and just walked around the viewing areas to see the animals.

For our Sept stay in a dedicated 2 br requested 3rd floor near the lobby, and received 3rd floor far far away from the lobby. Great view of ankole cattle, and rarely giraffes. It was a great room though, brand new (SIL took the plastic wrapper off the hairdryer in her bathroom.
