You have been so helpful :thumbsup2 your pic's have really helped

I am having my ceremony at the WP and reception at GF and for the ceremony I want the columns with tulle and I am hoping I can put the table arangements on them and they can transfer them to the reception

Hi! Just thought I would share!

I am getting married at SBP in March and we decided to just do rose petals everywhere.

The cost is $2.00 per rose and we are having 60 roses petals so $120.00.

I looked into a small floral arrangement for our unity sand and the cheapest was $100.00.

i also asked about the swag (tulling) that was going to be $250.00......

Since we are going to be there for such a short time we decided to go simple with just petals and save the money for a Wishes cruise for the last night of our honeymoon......flowers die.....memories dont! :thumbsup2

You're welcome!!

I know we had no clue what SBP really looked liked before our wedding. I saw a few, very few, pics of it online, but my family had no idea and neither did my DH! It was a big surprise to see it when I was walking down in my wedding dress...haha! I had no clue where it was or anything, but it was a wonderful surprise! Everyone loved it! My Mom still talks about how gorgeous it was and how she can't believe Disney deosn't have better pics of it on their site! She thinks it's because it's the most beautiful place and if they showed it...everyone would get married there!! :teeth:

That is expensive, and your right only beening there for such a short amount of time is it worth it, everyone who's been married there has said its so beautiful...... maybe a rethink :scratchin

It looks like a beautiful location that doesn't need much more than a bride and groom to make it complete! :thumbsup2

I'm also hoping just to have rose petals down the centre aisle, rose petals on the cake table, rose petals on the sand ceremony table, rose petals, rose petals, rose petals...

I'm not sure how many I'll be needing for that just yet...

I did have the rose petals at our wedding but they blew all over the place, but i didn't notice that until i was looking at the photos :flower3:
At the time i think i was concentrating on not dropping my bouquet because it was so heavy :)

Anyone have other pictures to share of Sea Breeze Point decorated? Does DFTW charge a fee to move the decorations from the ceremony site to the reception venue?

They do charge a moving fee. In my BEO right now they are moving my floral around and charged me $100.00. I am not married so I don't have any picks of SBP decorated but I am sure some other brides will be around to post beautiful pics for you!! :goodvibes

I'm in the middle of trying to decide between locations and am leaning towards SBP. Honestly, the one thing holding me back is the plastic chairs.. someone mentioned something about upgrading chairs?

Any more info on that? Thanks!!

Here are some of my pics again:

I had the white plastic chairs but honestly they looked nice.

I used an outside vendor for flowers so she transferred everything to my reception @ Ariel's.

Hope this helps feel free to ask any questions.

Thanks for sharing!! I'm assuming that I probably won't even notice the chairs the day of my wedding!

I would love to hear from other brides at SBP who had the chairs and hear their opinions! Thanks!

You could also cover the chairs - my florist handled the chair covers at the reception site and we added lilac bows and they were gorgeous! That way it would dress it up a bit.

What a good idea! I didn't even think about that!

I'm still in the pre-planning stages but I will keep that in mind. Thanks so much!

I thought I read somewhere on the boards, DFTW doesn't allow outside florists? Is that true, or have things changed? :confused3

I was married in 06 - not sure if outside floral vendors are an option or not. I'm sure chair covers are something Disney could do for a price.

Disney offers chair covers starting at $8.50 each (including a bow). They also have white wooden folding chairs for $5 a piece, but they come with a delivery fee that, for us anyway, negated any savings from having wooden chairs. But we were inside Epcot, and the delivery fee is different for every venue. Chiavari chairs start at around $12 and also have a delivery fee.

I am getting married at SBP and I originally opted for the wooden chairs. They seemed cheaper at the time since they were $5.00 but when I saw that the delivery fee was costing me more than the actual chair fee I scrapped that idea and went with the chair covers. It came out to be a bit cheaper and I was happy that I had something to cover up the plastic chairs. For some reason the plastic chairs just reminded me of a bbq. :rotfl:
