Yes! You can use a Vis-Vis marker or an Expo marker. I attached it with a string to the mickey head.

It was a lot of fun coming back to our room each night to see what messages had been left! I plan on doing it again this summer!

Last year instead of marching for my Masters I wanted to celebrate at Disney. So I took some scrapbooking paper and made some pages, one for my actual graduation, one for the pirate and princess party, and then one for the outside of our door. I hung the graduation on in the window the whole trip. I put the pirate and princess one on the window during that day. I put the outside one on the door for the whole trip. I had DIsers wish me happy graduation, congrats, hellos, keep the magic, you name it they wrote it. Which made my scrapbook from my graduation trip even better! No one touched it at all. I jut hung a pen from it. At the end of our trip our mousekeeper even signed it. She was great!

This year I am gonna try the Home Depot Mickey things and some scrapbooking paper, that sounds awesome!

We are going June 2 - June 9 to celebrate our daughters graduation from college. I've already "appropriated" the green mickeys and look forward to decorating her window as a suprise! It will also be our son, dtr in law and granddaughters first trip to wdw, so they'll get their window done too. I love all these neat ideas!!!

When we were there in September I did try to figure out how you could. The door is not metal, not flat, and decorated to match the theme. We did not see any doors done. The only windows in regular rooms was the balcony and you cannot really see the balcony windows from outside. We did a birthday banner on the inside of our room across the balcony/window wall.

Bumping up an old thread!!

For those of you who use the lime green mickey heads, what do you use to hang them? magnets? tape?

Magnets work great on the doors. I used double-stick tape, but very little of it-just enough to hold it on. I made sure that all traces had been removed before we left. Most of my decorations last summer were window clings. You can also use suction cups w/hooks. I'm going to look for some small ones at local Dollar Tree stores for our upcoming June trip. Hope this helps!

I love this thread. I just found it. We will be going to Disney August 31-Sept.6 for our Honeymoon. We are staying at Coronado Springs

I was thinking of making a Just Married poster and hanging it in the window. Also, I want to get some cute Mickey and Minnie window clings.

I will take any other suggestions. I think it is around the time for MNSSHP. Should it be decorated for Halloween?

We're staying at CSR and POP this Oct, and I'm already planning on window decorating! Home Depot is about an hour from us, so I don't get there often, but may have to make a quick trip sometime when I go south... I'm going to try some lights too... it would be great to have the window decorated so I can find the room!!! (LOL!)

oh my goodness! I love those window clings! Were they difficult to accomplish?

hi, no they were quite easy to make once you get started.
take a look at the disigners forum on here, they are
amazin, made lots of tshirts, mousekeeping envelopes & adr cards too.

you just have to remember to rotate your writing before
printing which i forgot a few times an wasted the sheets.

have fun doin them it certainly passes the time till
your holiday
