Decorating your resort room?

I'm thinking about decorating our door, but we're at the AKV so I don't want to mess with the theming there, you know? Hmm..

I thought I posted pics of my window/door but I don't see it. So if this is a double post I aplogize. We stayed at Pop. I used scotch tape on the windows and magnets on the door.

How did u do the Mickey head on the window?? U just taped the back???? Did u do the door before hand?? I have those heads and I dont know how to put them up, do i need to laminate???? HELP???????????????

I would laminate them-a strong, steady rain would ruin them. I wouldn't advice using tape after the last few responses-tape could be hard to remove and you don't want to be charged by WDW. I would use a type of sticky tac or something similiar-you can find it in the school supplies section at Walmart or at a teacher supply store. I plan on using all window clings for the window and magnets(hand-made using magnetic paper you can run through a printer) for the door. Whatever you decide to use just make sure you clean the window well before you check out and you shouldn't have any problems. Hope this helps!

It does Thanks so much!! So with the sticky tac you just put them together? Right now i am just using scrapbook backing and putting it on poster board, i did get the magnets to put on after all thats done, so hopefully it will work out. 5 more days!!! Thanks so much!!!

I have found some window clings at the dollar store but i also get magnetic tape and use that instead of magnetic paper. I think its cheaper lol. I make what i want and print it out, cut it out, and then put the magnetic strips on the back.

Hey everyone!
Target has these great jell window clings:
Troy
Gabrielle
Sharpay
Hannah Montana
Camp Rock (singles of Nick, Joe or Demi)
Nemo
Cars
$2.99 for each sheet
These clings are great because they aren't completely flat-it's almost like they have a jelly substance between them!
At our Target they were located on one of the side of the greeting card aisles. Good luck!

I used to work for disney and let me say it made me smile everytime i would see decorations on windows and doors. i LOVED christmas time there! a lot of familys put chirstmas lights around doors, windows, balconies, and more! try to google Fort Wilderness Campground christmas lights. now those folks who camp there durning the holidays.... they go ALL out!

We will be staying at AKL the first week of December. Does anyone know if it's possible to put lights on your balcony...either strands or on a small tree? Do they have outlets out there? Is it even allowed? Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

We're staying at Pop Century in August for my friends Bday
I need some reallyyy good ideas, I want to suprise her by having the room decorated before she arrives in it!! (We're going to think of a plan to keep her away from the room) But anyways, I need some good ideas..so far I'm thinking of those mickey paint swaps at HD, (LOVE IT) and maybe a banner...but any other suggestions???
