I put the window clings on the windows w/ Disney Characters. I just picked some up for my next trip for $1 at the Dollar store. It was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, they has the princesses too. It is a cheap way to decorate.

I just read that Disney was now charging a cleaning fee for those who decorated their windows, because some were not cleaning them before they checked out. Anyone know about this?

Has that been recently? There was a thread on here several months ago, where someone was told to either undecorate or they'd be charged, but they had used some of that window chalk that leaves a residue when it's removed. In Sept I asked the housekeepers if they had a problem with people decorating windows and was told they did not, as long as you clean up everything when you leave and don't use that window chalk.

Only people who need to be concerned with this are people who leave dirt from decorations on the windows. Why would anyone else be concerned?

Disney should charge a cleaning fee for windows if guest leave them dirty when they leave.Why soes someone need to decorate the windows anyway since you will be spendingmost of your time at the parks

i removed everything from the window prior to leaving and then cleaned the window, is that ok ???

each to there own, wouldnt it be a boring world if we were all
the same,

not all of us spend all our time in parks, we were there for 17 days, far too many hours to be in parks
even the kids get fed up

I like to decorate the window because it helps me to find my room after returning from a long day at the parks. I have had a stroke and my short term memory sucks to put it mildly and decorating the window is easier for me than trying to remember numbers. That is why I decorate, plus it is fun to plan the decorations! I think as long as damage is not done, and the window cleaned, there is no harm. If Disney makes a rule that I can not, well then I will abide, but until they do I will be respectful of Disney property and keep my decorations in the Disney theme and on the limited side of things.

I already have some items ready to go in Sept, some are window clings others just things to sit in the window to add to the Fall celebrations.

I personally can not wait to see what others have done too!

To each his own. If folks want to decorate, and clean it up, it should be no problem to others. I have never decorated, but I plan to this time. I want every little thing done for my grandchildren to enjoy themselves. I'm sure that the parks will be more than enough to thrill them, but if I can get an extra smile and one extra good memory, I want it. .

I am still waiting for the Memorial Day decorations to cme out as that's gonna be my theme for May!!Hoping for sme Mickey ones !! I have red and blue lights and red andblue stars and MHs so just need some flags and I'm all set!!

I'm heading to Dis. in mid of Sep. and can't wait to decorate. I didn't think of it last time and then saw everyone with xmas trees and lights and was a bit jealous b/c i almost always decorate where ever I go on vaca I was just in my bedroom trying to figure out how many disney plushies i could fit in a duffel bag and whether or not to bring my life size belle door cover
Since I just quit home depot and am still friends w. everyone there, I have a lifetime supply of disney behr paint chips

I got these polkadots at Walmart and we wrote disney quotes and inspirational sayings on them. We put a small piece of magnet on the back of each one and they stuck perfectly to the door to our room. We also had one magnet that said "Leave a note, say hello" and several people left us a note (including Tinkerbell) while we were out in the parks. It was fun to come back and read what our neighbors had written. On our departure date we took all the polkadots and left one on each of the doors along our way. It was fun to share some disney magic

We will be doing our polkadot door again this September 10-13 at POP so stop by and say hello if you spot us

I dug out my decorations all I need is some Patriotic clings !! I have lights, Red & Blus Stars and MHs So I'm all set!
