Decorating your resort room?

we were in disney in april and i did our windows with mickey heads for us all i had made form old map printed wrapping paper...then turned them into pirates mickey & minnies...really cool...we also added osme disney figures we'd gotten at the doller tree...check them out on my trip report...the kids are cuter then the windows if i do say so myself! hehe....lov elooking at all the windows on her! great ideas and so creative!

Hi, another good thing to remove permanent marker off something that can be wiped is "rubbing alcohol" swabs! It does work, one time at our work someone used a permanent marker instead of a white board one, and we used rubbing alcohol and also like "purel" something with a high alcoholized content.
Hope the little punks don't graffiti this time for you!

Guys, I need some ideas for our anniversary. I want to decorate the window in some creative way for that, but I lack the creativity! lol!

Also, I don't know if you all have a Family Dollar anywhere around you, but I always buy Mickey clings there. They also have seasonal Pooh and Princess and the old steamboat Mickey clings.

Look when it gets close to holidays! I got cute Mickey Mouse clings (non-holiday) but they were mixed in with Disney Christmas clings. They always have SO many Disney holiday clings. My girls got Princess easter clings, and refuse to take them off of their windows!

You think you get weird looks when you grab the lime green mickey heads...I work for HD and they see me taking them, they just shake there heads. I try to be a little sly about it now...

What did you use to apply them to the windows. I have a cricut and the Mickey cartridges and I am SOOOOO going to do something like this, it looks AWESOME!!

I am still in the planning stages, but I think I am going to use my old standby, VistaPrint (dot com) to help me with this. I use Vista Print for my classroom all the time. You can order free business cards, free magnets, etc. Once you start thinking out of the box, it's amazing the different ways to use their free stuff!!!

I am going to go play around with the designs and I will come back once I have my plan together!

OMG, I just loaded up on HD Mickey Heads. I was trying to look nonchalant, but how can you look nonchalant when you're stacking up Mickey Heads by the dozens???? I was terrified, my heart pounding, waiting for the hand to fall upon my shoulder as I was pretending to consider my "decorating scheme" of Alien Lime Green and Mickey Pants Red. Of course I had to have trim colors of Princess Purple and Sorceror's Hat. My pockets were bulging with the darn things and I tried to make it look like I was painting something REALLY big, also considering paint brushes, stirrers, etc. I skulked out of there through the outdoor garden section, resisting the urge to look back over my shoulder and fairly sprinted to my car. I would never make a thief...

Were we at the same HD?! That was me doing the same thing about 3 days ago. Seriously though, I am a teacher and one of my old students caught me in the act! She asked what I was doing, but being a middle schooler she thought it was a great idea!

Yesterday I got caught in the act with bulging pockets by an old man who works at HD (Yikes) and I said, "Hey, we're spending enough money on gas; I'm trying to save it by painting my wall with paint chips!" I stood there with this goofy grin on my face until the guy started laughing. He handed me about 400 more and said, "There, now paint your parents room while you're at it, kid! Have a great time!" He waved and I waved back. Then, I sprinted to my parents where the fans were and told them that I have to get home if I want to have time to "paint". I don't think they knew what I was talking about
