Decorating your resort room?

That would be sad if the Mickey heads were discontiued. I have a Cricut that I just realized cuts out the Mickey heads. YAY! Now I get to make my own.

Yes I did. I was in a panic mode! LOL I kept checking to see if it was working yet. I was having major withdrawel. LOL

Went to Home Depot 2x's this week - they are out of a lot of different colored Mickey heads - of course the alien green. They now have 2 toned rectangle samples instead. ????

Just need to match that shade of green! I have my Cricut too... forgot about that, since I havent played much with is (no time ) but may need to do that... may need larger ones for a project I am planning.

A cricut is a really cool machine that cuts out shapes from paper. Used mostly by scrapbookers. You can buy different cartridges for it. Right now Disney has 2 different ones. One does Mickey & Friends the other does letters. The Mickey head is on both. You can also cut out Mickey hands and a lot of really fun stuff.

Okay, so how much are these cool things? and can they be bought at most craft stores?

The Cricut can be bought at most craft stores but they cost about $250 The Disney cartridges are $70 each. Pretty expensive toy. I teach a Missionette class at church so I use mine a lot for letters and for my scrapbooking. I will cut some Mickey heads out and mail them to you if you want.

Yeah I was thinking of just a really big paper punch with changable plates. Thanks for the offer to send MH. My HD still has the MH paint samples. We've always had the two tone samples and the MH samples. Maybe other HD will still carry both.

This is the first time that I decorated my room and I tell you, it really brightens the atmosphere around the resort...It also helps you to be able to find your room.I also love how people will stop to look at the windows that are decorated and I hope that it gives them the idea to do something like that to their room whenever they come back. Also my lil guy loves looking at the pictures that i put on the windows and commenting on them

I hope they will. When I saw they didn't have anymore green, I took enough other colors to do a little multicolored collage with our names on them. Hopefully they'll get more. I'll keep checking.

We'll be staying at All Star Music this December and we're going to be decorating our room of course. Two questions-Could someone tell me how long of an extension cord is needed to reach from the window to the outlet? Also we'll be taking a small fiber optic tree. I wanted to pack it in out carryon so we could decorate when we get to the hotel room and not have to wait until we got our luggage from ME. I'm a little concerned it could cause a problem at airport security though with the wires and such. I dont mind extra scrutiny and them having to search the bag, just dont want to have it confiscated. Anyone have any problems with that kind of thing?
