Decorating your resort room?

i'm baaaaccckkk!!! pics will be up sometime before the end of the weekend!! we had a blast!!!! We were however in a little corner that was not seen by too many people, so we pretty much decorated for ourselves! hahaha! but it was still fun!!!

welcome back. can't wait to see the pics. when we were there last summer, we were on the third floor, facing away from the pool, so NO ONE saw our room, but we still had fun. Planning the same for this year, but the kids will be with us this trip. can't wait.

Your best bet to find out who is going at the same time is to go to the countdowns board and start a thread with your dates in the title

I do this every time i go on vacation and it's amazing all the friends i make

WoW! Finally got through the whole thread. Shame there weren't more pictures! Anyway, we have come to the conclusion that we're going to take a packet of those magnetic alphabet pieces and put them on our door! Okay, so we'll only see the last person's message, but flying from the UK we can't bring too much!!!!

paper is nice and easy to pack and a roll of tape and a marker! People can leave you a messge that way!!

I can't wait to decorate our room in October. My DH thinks I'm nuts! So I'll have to sneak some stuff along! I've already made several trips to Home Depot! I used the Mickey Head paint chips last year to put on everyones suitcase. I also made one for our stroller, which reall help my Dmom. She always seems to grap the wrong stroller Thanks again for all the great tips!!!

Hi All,
I am not staying at Pop's this trip I decided at the last minute to go.... So I will be staying at CS and I am just wondering can we decorate the windows there... I have not read this entire thread... so was not sure if anyone had before ... We are taking DNiece and thought she'd like that.... Maybe a Halloween theme.....

Yup, you can decorate your window/door anywhere as long as you clean it up


We are staying at the BEACH Club next year and will do our door and our balcony too

We are taking DNiece and thought she'd like that.... Maybe a Halloween theme.....

Halloween themes are the most fun!!! They have the most stuff and all different kinds of lights too!

Anyone have any great ideas on how I could surprise my family with some door decortations for our visit in a few weeks. We are going for Star Wars Weekend.. Thanks....

I've never seen Star Wars, but you should do a Star Wars theme! Easy things like pictures or posters and then maybe put some light sabers in the windows!

Use CRAYOLA window markers and write stuff like:

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH:

and all your names on the window

Border the window with WHite Christmas lights to give it a cool glow

Think of little things from the movie that you can add or make out of paper (Like stars) and then you can decorate with that!

Paper and Scissors are soo easy to pack as are markers!!

And christmas lights hardly take up any space, but remember an extension chord!!
