Decorating your resort room?

I found Cars, Pooh, and Princess Window Clings in Dollar Trees near us (in PA). Also in the DT I found small figures about 2in tall of Pooh and friends, Nemo, Princesses (and BRAND NEW!!!) Villans! I was so excited!
)

I bought mickey and pooh ones. I'll have to go back and check for villains. I want to do a halloween theme widnow.

I went to a huge flea market this weekend and they had lots of disney wondow clings. I got some cute mickey and minnie and one goofy. I am so excited. I already made a bunch of mickey heads from cling film I got at micheals.

Can you share how you made them? Did you use a punch or trace and cut?

Thanks!

Where was the flea market? I am orginally from Pittsburgh! My parents are still there...if I get really desperate, I could ask my Mom to go pick me up some! :cutie:
Here We Go Steelers!

Check on ebay. Last year I found two different sellers that had the cutest Disney Halloween clings. I bought a couple of sheets that had the Disney characters dressed as the villains. I also bought a MNSSHP poster from a seller in China, that had the Hong Kong castle on it, Disney characters running down a path from the castle, with ghosts chasing them, that I placed in the center of the window, with the Disney Halloween clings around it. It was really cute. I also cut out some black, orange, and lime green Home Depot Mickey Heads and taped them scattered around on the window. Wal Marts had some plain ghosts clings and also some purple blinking lights that I hung around the window. They also had a bag of small pumpkins that I painted jack o laterns on, and piled up in one corner of the window. I then placed some little jack o latern pumpkins and witches candy holders on the window sill and filled them with candy corn. I also used black and orange Home Depot Mickey Heads, that I cut out, glued back to back, punched holes in them, strung them on 1/4" wide black ribbon and made a garland out of to place around the door. I glued magnets on a bunch of lime green Home Depot Mickey heads and stuck them on the door. I then tied a black and orange curly ribbon bow around the door handle. I'll be taking most of the same stuff back this year.

Wow!
Do you have a picture???

I plan on doing a Halloween themed window for our October trip. At the end of last year, I found a fun nylon banner on clearance at a Factory Card Outlet store here. It says Welcome Foolish Mortals. I thought--perfect!! So, I'm going to hang that up in the window along with some Disney window clings and LGMHs. :)

Do Target & Walmart have their Halloween decorations out yet? (haven't been 2+ weeks!)
Been looking for princessy colored twinkle lights to string around our window @Pop and haven't been able to find any...just remembered that they sometimes sell purple ones for Halloween...
:thanks:

I also have a Mickey Pumpkin that lights up that I will dig out from out Halloween stuff to bring down (my dh is goping to kill me!).

I also found at Ollie's Outlet a HUGE Wall Deocration that I will find someway to hang in the window....it's Cars, but they also have Princess (can you tell I have boys!)

Which Villians did you find? We have some, but was wondering if they have put out some new ones!:wizard:

The Villans I found were

Ursula from the Little Mermaid
Hook from Peter Pan
Malificaent from Sleeping Beauty
Cruella DeVille from 101 Dalmatians
Scar from Lion King

That was all I was able to find. I"m not sure if there are others

They also has Nemo and Dori

The 4 main Pooh Chara
and Princesses (sorry I didn't look who..I have boys!)

I think I will be busy over the next 400 days making Halloween/Autumn Decorations for our room, the more I think on it the more ideas I come up with.

I'm not sure if it's been posted (I have been trying to read the whole thread!), but Dollar Tree also has figures of the Fab 4. (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, no Pluto yet) The Nemo ones are really cute. I have them put away to surprise DD on our trip in Oct.

I just wanted to send a "Thank You" to all of the people who have shared pictures and/or ideas. I hang out here only when I have a trip coming up, which isn't that often. I love seeing what others have done. It is so helpful!

Do you mind if I use some of your ideas? I like the idea of magnets on the door and a bow on the handle.

Window Clings Would be Really Easy to Pack & Take !
And, I went to Home Depot Today in White Lake, Michigan....Finally Saw the Infamous Green Mickey Head Behr Paint Sample!!
Me & My 4 yr old DD had a blast getting 1 or 2 of every color, and a handful of the DIS Green, Those are perfect !
