Decorating your resort room?

i finally got my butt over to the local home depot and they dont carry the mickey head paint chips!! i don't think they ever did.

could someone give me an approximate size of how big they are?

So glad I found this thread. I have been making posters and planning window and door decorating for our trip this summer to Disney. We're staying at the All Star Movie resort and I can't wait! I have Mickey head I made on my computer in all types of sizes and colours. A couple of posters with the year and what we are celebrating. Trying to decide on what else to do. But this thread has given me a few more ideas!

i saw the mickey heads on a string in the windows and i love that idea so i am going to make them. also working on a bunch more stuff and having so much fun doing it!

My husband I will be at AKL kidani for his birthday. I LOVE the idea of people leaving messages although Im not sure how well it will do since the door to our room possibly wont have alot of traffic. Any other ideas how I can decorate the room and make it special? Or how I can get more people to respond? Id love to have the door covered by the end of the week. TIA

Has anybody decorated their room at a non-Disney hotel? What about leaving decorated envelopes for housekeeping tips? Even though it's not Disney property, I think it would still be a fun surprise!

can someone tell me which cricut cartridge to get to get the mickey head. Since HD no longer carries the paint chips. Was already planning on getting a cricut mini machine. We are going for christmas was planning on doing strands of heads in red and green in the window.

There are actually two Mickey cartridges you can use. I just made 200 heads (red and green also) for our trip in under 10 minutes the one I use is the Mickey Font Cart.

We didn't necessarily decorate our room, but we had lots of fun with our animals! You know how mousekeeping arranges our best pals? Well, we set up a few scenes for her to see! It was great fun. Our favorite was setting up Mickey and the gang around the table, each with a 5 card hand, and some snacks (they each had a ButterBeer mug!) It was the cutest poker game that ever was!

We have the removable clings and use those along with a few favorite stuffed animals. Mickey usually brings the kids a surprise from the parks in the window each night.

I have never had any issues with plugging in lights at the all stars. I always bring an extension cord too for plugging in other things.

Mine has payed for itself time and time again. I've used it for garage sale signs (very legible) we did posters for all stars, use it for pretty much everything ;-) takes longer to get it out then it does to cut the stuff I need.

are the doors at ASMo metal to do magnets? i cant remember....
and i can i just say i'm bummed HD doesnt carry the mouse heads anymore....good thing i'm a hoarder and kept our from our trip in 08'
