We're going in December and plan on decorating our window for the holidays. Can anyone tell me how long of an extension cord I would need for lights around the window? I think the closest plug would be off to the side by the table, right? Thanks for the help, I'd hate to pack a cord too short.

Yes the closest outlet is under the table--9-12 foot will do--we decorate every year--When are you going to be there?

I never though to bring lights to decorate with. Now I'll need to do that too!! What do you adhere them to the window with? Tape? Suction cups?

We're going to be there Dec 9-16th. We love going that time of year. Its the first time I'm going to decorate the room, have to keep the holiday spirit for our 2 yr old. I have some little 3M clip things that are suppose to work great for hanging lights, we'll see. I've also heard suction cups work well. We made a small wreath using the mickey head paint chips from HD and some stickers, got some fun lights and a little fiber optic tree and decorations. I'm sure I'll add more things, my husband already thinks I'm a little nuts.

We decorated out window & room last year and the kids LOVED it. We were even lucky enough to have a room with a large grass area out front. On Christmas morning we woke to tire tracks going accross the wet grass. When the kids ( 4 & 7 ) asked about them, I quickly told them they were from Santa;s sleigh. They thought it was so very cool.
We had our presents delivered to the hotel before we arrived then when we checked in we confirmed they had arrived. On Christmas Eve DH walked to the front desk when the kids were sleeping and retrieved the gifts from Santa.
It was a GREAT Christmas.

Hope your is just as magical

Lisa

That's when we will be there--we use the suction cup hooks--work well--will have to look out for all the decorated windows--:thumbsup2

Just wanted to add that I love the idea of the Mickey wreath with the paint chip samples. What a great idea!---Kathy
